This pastor actually went into the Masjid I used to attend in Orlando FL to try and bait the brothers and Imam into a debate. This is such an example of Christian ignorance and human arrogance at its finest. I get it though. I used to be one of those zealous Christians, but by the grace of Allah (SWT) I humbled myself and acknowledged my shortcomings. I didn't go to Islam, I was blessed with Islam all alone in my living room when I was not looking for a religion. I was not reading into Islam nor was I even thinking about Islam. After being raised as a Christian, pastoring a church for 5 years and singing in churches all over the country for over 25 years, I went through a difficult season of questioning and doubting after seeing truths I could not unsee through my studies. I then went through a dark season where I felt an immense emptiness. It was then at that moment the desire to read a Quran overtook me and I've been a proud Muslim for 3 years (Alhamdulillah)!! I can't even begin to express what Allah (SWT) did for me spiritually. This is the problem I have with religious zealous proselytizing. My journey is my own. And if I convert to a religion simply because of your swaying, manipulation or clever presentations targeting my emotions it is no longer my authentic experience. Even if he did manage to convert O-Block to full christianity, that still wouldn't do much. Because Islam is growing in many other rough neighborhoods just as it is in O-Block, Alhamdullilah there are people that go to prison and revert to islam, and it makes them better people when they are released.

It is such a blessing that these Muslim Brothers went into O'Block and was able to get the attention of these black men who are now my Muslim Brothers and they converted to Islam by the Will and Grace of Allah! These are the strongest Brothers for our religion. They are now making five prayers a day. All praise be to Allah! I'm not downing another man's religion but where is the discipline in Christianity. It's not a question! Keep on doing what you doing black men and get the sisters involved. I pray and hope that Allah blesses this community and the Muslim brothers that went in there to transform it to beauty

This pastor actually went into the Masjid I used to attend in Orlando FL to try and bait the brothers and Imam into a debate. This is such an example of Christian ignorance and human arrogance at its finest. I get it though. I used to be one of those zealous Christians, but by the grace of Allah (SWT) I humbled myself and acknowledged my shortcomings. I didn't go to Islam, I was blessed with Islam all alone in my living room when I was not looking for a religion. I was not reading into Islam nor was I even thinking about Islam. After being raised as a Christian, pastoring a church for 5 years and singing in churches all over the country for over 25 years, I went through a difficult season of questioning and doubting after seeing truths I could not unsee through my studies. I then went through a dark season where I felt an immense emptiness. It was then at that moment the desire to read a Quran overtook me and I've been a proud Muslim for 3 years (Alhamdulillah)!! I can't even begin to express what Allah (SWT) did for me spiritually. This is the problem I have with religious zealous proselytizing. My journey is my own. And if I convert to a religion simply because of your swaying, manipulation or clever presentations targeting my emotions it is no longer my authentic experience. Man is not God and man cannot change the hearts of men! Only Allah (SWT) can do that! Assalamualaikum!
