We eat a lot of sauerkraut in europe! Mostly in Germany and the Netherlands I guess. In the Netherlands we eat it mixer with mashed potatoes and a smoked sausage. We call it ‘zuurkool stamppot’

Sauerkraut is a Northern European thing, like the Ukraine, Poland, Russia, etc. It is also a Korean thing (kimchi) spicy fermented cabbage!! But everyone can enjoy it!!
