Beyond Words: Reaching Supreme TRUTH -- Non-Dual Brahman

- The sages of ancient India admitted that the supreme reality lies beyond the scope of words, yet they used words -- not to reveal that reality, but to negate everything else in a highly systematic way, leading one to discover of that reality.
The non-dual reality called brahman is nirguna, free from attributes, nirakara, formless, nirvishesha, free from qualities. Therefore, words (shabda) cannot reveal it, Yet words can lead you to discover it through a process of superimposition and negation (adhyaropa apavada) as described by the traditional story about locating a particular star in the sky, Arundhati, by going from star to star. Arundhati darshana nyaya.

Claro lo que distingue más a este señor conferencista es su capacidad didáctica, indudablemente es un excelente profesor, más halla de esta afirmación no puedo comentar más. Ahora de los comentarios se advierte que hay ,en varios de ellos un debate en torno a la autoridad para esclarecer el proceso de realizar Braman y su entorno. Se puede inferir que se han generado muchos proyecciones, pero una vez más, como la definición de un modelo, incluyendo este tan estructurado del Vedanta, la realidad es mucho más que el modelo porque surge de la realidad. No se hasta que punto vale la pena estas especulaciones, en todo caso quienes no estamos preparados como el dice AdiSankara, y esto es estar puro , es mejor no decir nada
This was really well explained. The only thing I would argue differently is that it is subconsciousness that is the true reality, not merely consciousness. Consciousness isn’t eternal, as it will one day fade. Also because if there is consciousness, we are still self aware and not one with the primordial reality/unreality. Subconsciousness is beyond even the self. It represents true oneness, limitlessness, and fullness. That is when you are truly uncreated and at one with the source.
Again "Consciousness" is closest translation of Atmān we use. U're using Freudian description 'nd imposing on something tht lies beyond it. Atman can only be found through Negation. The only quality ascribed to it are "Sat Chit Ananda" i.e Existence-Awareness-Bliss. Here "Awareness" means it is only aware of itself in Turiya.
Freudian description of consciousness is different from Vedantin view point. Acc. to Vedanta, the three states of Waking, Dreaming 'nd Deep sleep pulsates in the field of Atman. Atman is considered 4th state i.e "Turiya" actually not different, rather the ground field on which Waking, Dreaming 'nd Deep sleep oscillates.
Freud categorisation is of mind not of Atman. Mind has consciousness, subconsciousness 'nd unconsciousness. Atman is the fundamental substratum on which these categorisation of states of mind oscillates. Tht categorisation can vary acc. to Freudians, Greeks, Indians etc, but the ground substratum remains same 'nd tht is Atmān!
Plus u're mixing up with words 'nd Freudian categorisation imposed on Vedantin categorisation. Call it sub consciousness or Self with big "S" or simply Awareness or Cosmic Cat consciousness or Tathagatgarbha etc, it doesn't matter. Words can't grasp it, it is nameless. Sages called it "Atman" but this word itself isn't tht.
Arundhati Star, is a binary star system. Unlike any other binary star system, the two stars orbiting around each other have equal mass 💫.
The reason this system is shown to newly wed is to signify how an ideal husband and wife relationship should be.

It's not even as complicated as this. Just know that any qualities that can be known are not it. Because you are the knower any thing that can be known is not the transcendent. But any thing that can be known is not apart from it because everything emanates from it. So what emanates, the fact of emanation and the source of emanation are all one. However the source cannot be known because you are the source. Like trying to see your own eyeball that is looking.
Knower, knowing, known...all three are atma, while atma are not any of these.

Ishwara is Saguna Brahman (Brahman with Maya). Brahman the Ultimate is Nirguna Brahman.

I am sorry to say but a black hole is not a tear in space/time. It is an area of extreme gravity from an imploded star. The gravity is so strong that not even light can escape therefore giving the appearance of a hole but its not an actual hole in space. Plus once you cross the event horizon of a black hole the horizon would record your data on the surface while your 3d self would be crushed to oblivion when you finally reach the singularity. Also in the black hole all of the laws of physics breaks down and time stops for someone that observed you falling in but from your perspective you feel nothing. For the observer you would stop like a paused video and be stretched to oblivion.
Also it's weird to think about but if the universe stopped expanding time would stop because space and time are one and the same.
Swami ji is saying back hole as a tear in fabric informally as space time continuum is 4D and impossible to imagine. Interesting thing is that at black hole , Space coordinate and Time coordinate switch their roles mean space becomes time and vice versa as per Genereal theory of relativity thereby forbidding laws of physics there😅
@@Sg0224 a black whole is not a tear in the fabric of space. At the center is a singularity which is the remnant of what used to be a star that died and imploded and instead if its energy moving outwardly it implodes and all the gravity from that density is what gives the resemblance to a hole but it isn't even a hole it is just a region of space where the gravity around the dead star is so strong that nothing can escape including light hence the term black hole and you cannot go through one. When you cross the even horizon which is the area where the gravity is so strong nothing can escape then you are doomed to travel faster and faster until you reach the singularity where you are either crushed death or stretched to pieces no kne knows which but you will die because you aren't going through anything. It's not a hole and it's not a tear in space. He got his analogy wrong. He might be thinking about the wormhole theory. In either case his analogy is wrong.
Does that mean the spirit or light of a human can never escape ?

wrong, mahadev shiva is the self of all, he is brahman and the maya is shakti of brahman, together they are ishwar/parameshwar half masculine and half feminine they are complete cosmic consciousness and cosmic body and whole in ardhanareshwar state , krishna is the avatar of bhagwan vishnu, who is the combined form of shiva and shakti but masculine dominat and his half is mata laxshmi who is aslo combined from of shiva and shakti but feminine dominant. also even bhagwan ram and bhagwan krishna were the daily worshiper of shiva and shakti they used to do every day morning pooja in shiva lingum format as brahman and maya together in one whole form and formless of cosmic consciousness and cosmic body, the upper form or cylinder any shaped form represents nirgun brahman which is like water and can be in any shape and the base represents sagun brahman
