not a bad review although not sure if the Sportback options list works the same as the standard Q3, The upgraded virtual cockpit and matrix lights are not available as options on the standard Q3 you have to upgrade to a higher spec (ie - Vorsprung!). I have just ordered a Q3 and wanted more options which was pointing me towards a Vorsprung but I prefer the chrome grille to the black vorsprung one thus the highest spec i could go to was S-Line with limited options. I had a look at the Sportback but didn't like the rear end - the Audi salesman also admitted that it is "style over substance", you pay more money for limited rear visibility and very restricted rear headroom,. Also the storage pack is NOT the first aid kit and high vis vests, it is the cargo net, extra led lights inside the bootlid, storage drawer under the front seat and the nets on the back of the front seats.

The car I reviewed was fresh from Audi and as always with new cars, options are prone to changing. Thank you for the heads up about the storage. It is in the description.
Hi there .. got a regular q3 2.0 tdi 35 s stronic on order .. is the gearbox and engine ok ? Coming from the the old tdi 150 q3 .. people say engine is laggy / legarthic ? And others say it’s fine ? What’s your opinion on this particular gearbox and engine
Hi there Chris. Thank you for your comment. That engine and gearbox option is fine and definitely a popular combination. It can be a bit hesitant if you are looking to overtake quickly or make a quick departure from a standstill. But for everyday driving it is absolutely fine.

Good review but not a UK spec Q3 Sportback - those wheels for starters are not available on any of the 4 trim levels and Start/Stop button with keyless entry only available on the Vorsprung, which the car they’ve given you certainly isn't . You’ll probably find this is what Audi call a ‘Launch’ car. Just be clear to point this out when reviewing - thanks.

I believe it does, or is activated via the touchscreen.
@@AutoBears I actually called up Audi UK (Stockport branch) and they said all Q3 are key ignition... cancelled my test drive
