@tesolone8110 just like with firemonkeys, the new devs don’t work on the weekends. When I first started, it would often take a week to get a reply. Towards the end though, firemonkeys had that down to 2-3 days. The new devs are the same. People just have to remember they work a regular job like most of us. 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
Spent about two hours on this. Came in 10th, 9th and 8th, realised eventually it must be a glitch, so gave up and skipped for 40G, which is what the event payout was. Therefore a no gain event for me except for R$ and fame. I am hoping that, for those of us that skipped this stage we might receive a refund. (but I won't hold my breath) Hope the developers jump on this glitch quickly to resolve for those of you that have stopped at this point in the event. Other than the glitch for stage 10.5, it was an enjoyable flashback event. Thanks ME7 for all your input to this game. So much appreciated. (9 year veteran of the game)
Done the same myself had to use 40 gold to skip its nearly impossible to clear stage. I watched reruns of my races seams your penalised for even half wheel on boarders needs to be sorted

Good thing I chose to shut off at midnight, retiring to bed. I ran mine fully upgraded and made a perfect run arriving at the Finish line in 1st, but not crossing it. I waited for eight other cars to cross, then crossed mysel, taking 9th place. My arms were up in the air, celebrating, only to see a red failure banner. Strangely, I noted the 40GC skip option and thought "Nah, that's two days of Ad income. Tomorrow I'll get it right". I just arose and listened to this video while preparing a Racer's Breakfast. Boom! Skip incoming. I'll happily accept an MP4-X or 1,000GC for wastefully challenging me so. Thanks Mario.
This is the exact reason why I always wait for your video for the event to come out before I even think of starting them, you and rr3 speedmaster both do incredible videos but yours are better because you actually talk in them, rr3 doesn't, plus I like to know how much the race is going to cost me in gold too make sure I've got enough, nothing worse than spending all of your Gold and not being able to complete the event, great job again ME7, PEACE
I got a best finish of 8th over three days before I sent in a bug report ticket and chatted with a EA rep. This morning, I noted that 10.5 had a "Skip Fpr Free" label. Tried to win legitimately but the bug was still there so I took the skip option. Thanks to everybody who got the word back to EA so they could provide the skip

Same experience here; had the car at 21/24, so up until 10.5 very straightforward. After meeting the goals yet failing 3x, I knew it must be a glitch. Let’s hope a patch gets released promptly.
I though I was going insane yesterday…finished 10th & 9 th and failed. then saw Paolo, from Trackside post saying a glitch….must have had about 10 attempts at this thing inc small bumps, insane fast cars in 11th position, and minor off track indiscretions….lets hope for a speedy resolution 👍

Hi, It doesn't matter if you don't get a notification for going off the track or anything like that, just look at the clean race bounce result and you'll see how they collect the car damage. And you have to do it really Claire without any damage. 4 wheel on the road between White Lane. 🚔
That’s right. There’s 2 different ways this game looks at damage. What’s interesting is having 2 tires or even all tires off track will never actually damage your car during the race. Meaning it never makes you slower. Whereas an actual collision will make you slower. To get full race bonus you definitely have to have all four tires between the white lines at all times. The trade-off is you will definitely be slower and you will never get upper level time trial because of the competition you face. Just like in real life, racers must know all the rules and to push them as far as they can. Sometimes they push too far and that’s why there are penalties in place. In this particular stage, the notification is absolutely necessary. That’s the only way to know if you failed the stage or not. Like I already proved, this stage is flawed. If you watch how I ran it in the Audi, I had two tires off track a lot, made minor contact yet passed the stage. So it just isn't me. lol I've spent the last 3 days stuck on this level and I'm not a good racer, but I just had my 3rd no off track, no collision win at 10th and I'm getting just a little annoyed. Thanks for the video Me7. I feel so much better now but would still like to be able to finish the next levels.

@@ME7_RR3 I've got a clue as to why this is happening. You know that the Pursuit of Victory is a type of event where you need to wait another day to unlock the next stage, right? Just like the Pursuit of Victory: Audi. But then this event came back, however, it isn't like the old one where you have to wait another day. So they made THAT change, but it somehow affected goal 5 of stage 10.
Hello and welcome ;-) First thanks to ME7 for all your usefull videos. I already owned 2015 LMP1 Porsche fully upgraded and I encountered the same problem with level 10.5. So I had to spend 40 Gold for passing the level. And worst, while I have finished all series, I am missing 1000 Points to gain the last 60 Gold bonus. Not cool at all!
I think they have massively turned down the collision sensitivity from the old days. One of the earlier stages had a no collision requirement and I did a massive side swipe and still passed the stage.
Hi ME7, you probably won't see this but I wanted to say my piece since the Le Mans update in the "Battle for Le Mans" video you had made, but I didn't manage to do so before you deleted it. I'm by all means a casual, first playing the game in 2017/18 until my phone became incompatible. I decided to give it another shot last October because it's the closest thing to Gran Turismo for a phone but I'm getting increasingly disappointed. Ironically, my frustrations begun with the Audi Le Mans persuit of victory event back in October. Part of it was my fault for not knowing I needed to complete the event within the 7 days to get the car and I had just started the game, so I didn't have R$ to throw around and tried to complete the event with 2 or 3 upgrades. I failed for a couple of reasons. One being that, unlike with the current event, we had to wait for the day to change for the next chapter to open and I didn't have enough time, while with the Porsche I'm on stage goal 10-3 with 6 days left. One other reason is the goal 10-1 because of how the game calculates distance and still, after all these years, they haven't changed it to calculating gaps with seconds like any sane racing game since the '90s at least... As for 'Battle of Le Mans', not only it's BS that they force players to buy all the cars unlike all other motorsport events but also, in my opinion, the Oreca 07 is unfairly slower than it should. How do I know? Assuming it is indeed from 2017 as the game suggests it's the unresticted model. Based on the data: Spa 2017, fastest qualifying LMP2 2:02.601 - that will put it 7th in the 2023 grid in front of two Porsche 963s, both Peugeot 9X8s, the Glickenhaus and Vanwall hypercars. Same for Le Mans Fastest LMP2 in 2017, qualifying 3:25.352 - that would put it 8th in 2023 and in to the hyperpole session in front of one of the two factory Cadillacs, one of the factory Porsche 963s and again both Peugeots, the Glickenhaus and Vanwall. Yet it has 5,9 less PR than the Porsche as stock. In short, fundamentaly outdated and not just by 2024 standards, purposefully unrealistic performance for some cars and with technical mess ups that hinder players.
I went and found a good time to video that has similar braking points, it’s at the end. It helps to feel it out yourself as well though. Easiest way to do that is an endurance race because your distance counter will turn red anytime you’re off track. So you can go back-and-forth over a section, a little bit more over each time until it turns red. Then it’s a matter of matching that when you’re at speed, which is the hard part. Here’s that time trial. I go through the run twice, second time with braking and acceleration points. I'm not ME7, but i passed this event. You can do it without upgrades since there is no PR requirement. Personally, i only bought the R$ upgrades, 11 of them, and spent R$980k on them. I did it just to take advantage of the 3hr of instant upgrades and finish the event with decently upgraded car and ready to race for the most races as posible in its Motorsport event without having to wait for upgrades And don't worry about the money spent, you will recover while playing the event, races are well paid
This glitch is such a disaster. I spent hours coming 10, 9, 8, 7 even made it 6th... but what is the fix? do I need to write in and they skip it or pay the 40 gold and get them back?
We are working on a fix. Not sure what’s triggering the failure. You could pay to skip and then ask them for the money back. Take a screenshot. They know about the problem.

Made it at 9th place without any failed notif as well. Took me 50 ads to skip repairs. I hope they didnt intentionally do this to get so much ad views per ip address. Imagine if they get 2 dollars per ad multiplied by how many active players. They can buy themselves new cars from this event 😅
They’ve indicated they’re working on it. They’ll have to test it and then they’ll release it ASAP. No timeline because it’s not like it’s something that happens all the time.

You have no upgrades. I got 19 upgrades, and it's still fail. (According to trackside, i'm still in stage 9) That means, no matter how many upgrades you bought, it's still fail, red banner.
Yeah, after 3 whole hours of trying (and watching ads to speed up the servicing, cause my 3 hour instant service ran out) I just gave up and bid farewell to 40 gold by skipping this one. I want a refund lol!

OMG It took me FOREVER to figure out that I was driving clean - on a MUCH more conservative line than you take (note to self on the kerbs) and I was failing no matter what. What a waste of time. 👎🏾

Just ignore all the FAQ and forum links and tap on Technical Help at the right of the navigation bar. Then scroll down to the "Chat" button and tap on that. If it's the first time you're filing a ticket from your particular device, it will ask for your email and name before continuing to ask about what you want to report. Once you choose your type of report, ignore the reference to FAQs and Forums (again) by tapping "No it didn't help". Then write your issue with as much detail as you can. Once you're done, press the back button to close the window and get back to the game. Hope this helps.

I did file a ticket and 14 hours later still no response. I've come to realize that if you don't advertise their game or suggest it they just don't care about you...Typically EA support!

Delete the game and reinstall the game not working. Clear local save not working. Some says that I have in my device one or more apps who compress the time and increase the speed. The first ban was reason code 10045 (cheating on time trials) , and the second with code 10055 (currency cheating). I barely know how to turn on and off the device. And update after 6 weeks. No knowledge in electronic world. The last ban was in July 13th until July 20th. No online from that day. May I ask you how to go further with this game?

It’s 7:30 a.m. PDT on Wednesday, Aug. 7, and this race is now “Skip for Free.” That should give most of us time to complete the event.

In 0:38 the notification said "finish in top and Win this stint". So it probably has to do with the update

Yet it has 5,9 less PR than the Porsche as stock. In short, fundamentaly outdated and not just by 2024 standards, purposefully unrealistic performance for some cars and with technical mess ups that hinder players.

So, what’s the advice? Do the event up to that point and skip the last event or file a ticket after we get to stage 10.5?
Do you have a video that does into detail of the track limits at Le Mans? Particularly the chicanes on the moulan straight.
I went and found a good time to video that has similar braking points, it’s at the end. It helps to feel it out yourself as well though. Easiest way to do that is an endurance race because your distance counter will turn red anytime you’re off track. So you can go back-and-forth over a section, a little bit more over each time until it turns red. Then it’s a matter of matching that when you’re at speed, which is the hard part.

You can finish 10 or in any “top 10” still you will not get any green banner. Skip is the only way out if you want to complete event

I'm not ME7, but i passed this event.
You can do it without upgrades since there is no PR requirement.
Personally, i only bought the R$ upgrades, 11 of them, and spent R$980k on them. I did it just to take advantage of the 3hr of instant upgrades and finish the event with decently upgraded car and ready to race for the most races as posible in its Motorsport event without having to wait for upgrades
And don't worry about the money spent, you will recover while playing the event, races are well paid

This glitch is such a disaster. I spent hours coming 10, 9, 8, 7 even made it 6th... but what is the fix? do I need to write in and they skip it or pay the 40 gold and get them back?
We are working on a fix. Not sure what’s triggering the failure. You could pay to skip and then ask them for the money back. Take a screenshot. They know about the problem.

Made it at 9th place without any failed notif as well. Took me 50 ads to skip repairs. I hope they didnt intentionally do this to get so much ad views per ip address. Imagine if they get 2 dollars per ad multiplied by how many active players. They can buy themselves new cars from this event 😅

They’ve indicated they’re working on it. They’ll have to test it and then they’ll release it ASAP. No timeline because it’s not like it’s something that happens all the time.

You have no upgrades. I got 19 upgrades, and it's still fail. (According to trackside, i'm still in stage 9)
That means, no matter how many upgrades you bought, it's still fail, red banner.

If you skip with gold, you usually have to file a ticket to get your gold back. It can take a few days.

It’s positive if you didn’t do a skip, neutra if you did. The skip costs in the last stage are 40 gold, which is exactly the same as the rewards

OMG It took me FOREVER to figure out that I was driving clean - on a MUCH more conservative line than you take (note to self on the kerbs) and I was failing no matter what. What a waste of time. 👎🏾

Just ignore all the FAQ and forum links and tap on Technical Help at the right of the navigation bar.
Then scroll down to the "Chat" button and tap on that.
If it's the first time you're filing a ticket from your particular device, it will ask for your email and name before continuing to ask about what you want to report. Once you choose your type of report, ignore the reference to FAQs and Forums (again) by tapping "No it didn't help".
Then write your issue with as much detail as you can.
Once you're done, press the back button to close the window and get back to the game.

I did file a ticket and 14 hours later still no response. I've come to realize that if you don't advertise their game or suggest it they just don't care about you...Typically EA support!
@ianradue2633 tech-support doesn’t work 24 hours a day. It’s not like a utility company, just a gaming company. Usually takes 2 to 3 days to get a reply from what I hear.

It could be your gold balance. A couple of people are saying a higher gold balance could trigger an automatic ban. What is your gold balance at?

Delete the game and reinstall the game not working. Clear local save not working. Some says that I have in my device one or more apps who compress the time and increase the speed. The first ban was reason code 10045 (cheating on time trials) , and the second with code 10055 (currency cheating). I barely know how to turn on and off the device. And update after 6 weeks. No knowledge in electronic world. The last ban was in July 13th until July 20th. No online from that day. May I ask you how to go further with this game?

None. You don’t need anything for this event. However, this particular race is impossible if you’re fully upgraded.
