Sanjeev....and Armeen....such a delight to see you perform this delightful duet in your serene and melifluous voices. SDB would have chuckled in glee and said bhalo bhalo if he heard you both. Dev...would rock away his head and give you a toothless grin. I vividly recall Armeen amongst the audience listening to your rendition of Jaane kya doondti rehti hain in the late 90s on Sa Ri Ga Ma contest. Thoroughly enjoyed your duet of the four seasons four raagas of that divine Anil da Biswas composition. God bless you both. Keep sharing your songs and continue to delight us
This is the first time I am hearing to Armeen singing. Sanjeev as always sings in his natural voice without trying to copy Rafi sahab's voice. Armeenji almost reproduced the magic of Ashaji. Very well sung by both

Sanjeev accidentally i saw you for the first time only yesterday on sa re ga pa's old video. Your face looks so similar to great Shiv Kumar Batelvi. Same innocence. You are a great singer.

Absolutely delightful rendition of a superb melody from an awesome soundtrack. Armeen has got lovely voice texture (esp when she picks Asha ji's songs; should smile more though :) pls upload her rendition of "Thandi Thandi Sawan Ki Phuhar'"...from Jagte Raho (1956)
Wow! I have listened to Sanjeev many times over the past few years but had forgotten that Armeen's voice has a beautiful texture as well -- I saw you at Marlboro High School ~20 years ago. It is easy for me to say this, but you two should consider making music your primary time consumer instead of present "bread winning". Hope that you are able to follow the footsteps of a Kronecker (look up his journey if you do not already know). Do you still hold concerts in NY-NJ area?
I don't understand why you don't compose and sing your own songs. You shouldn't be singing covers anymore. Yes, it's a delight listening to old songs sung with soul and perfection. Still, you are someone who should be known for your songs.
@Hari Venu Radha - appreciate your sentiments, very much in the right spirit. Even amongst the "covers" we post, we generally try to put up somewhat unusual stuff that reflects our taste. We have sung some original material as well, though as we are not professionals in the strictest sense (doing music as a passion alongside our "day jobs"), bandwidth is somewhat limited. Still we are looking to push more in that direction as well.
@@sanjeevramabhadran Thanks for the reply! The selection of all your "cover" songs talk a lot about the "unusual" you mean, and I enjoy it. I am sure that you know better than me that record companies do not decide the reach of songs any more, and the meaning of being a "professional" can be redefined and multi-dispersed (On a lighter note, a Sandaru Sathsara was impossible 30 years ago). But I understand what you mean. All the best to your efforts!
