btw if your order does get denied, i have heard that if you email them, they'll tell you which card art is the problem so you can fix it also i swear i edited out two of the "and that's it" clips at the end, but they're back so screw me i guess
Unfortunately this is a difficult to answer question, but one I definitely should’ve answered in the video. Sorry about that. The more cards you get in a print run, the cheaper each is. The order I’m going to make is about £55 shipped but that’s only like 120 cards and about a third of them foils (so a different print run, and more per card) But I’m sure it could be cheaper if you made different choices. I’ll make sure to break it down more thoroughly in the follow-up video once I have the cards in hand.
Magic the gathering is not an increasingly expensive game to play, have you not seen the prices of cards tanking since project booster fun began? Cards are as cheap as ever. Fetches alone are at an all time low.
Firstly, you can pick and choose cards all you like, but a reprint set for the _casual format_ came out last month with draft booster boxes that cost upwards of £200. And secondly as I said in the intro “Many of you will be able to access cards which cost 30, 40, bucks or more […] but not everyone is in that situation”, this is a budget channel, and £20+ cards like fetchlands are not budget.
It's not that cards aren't being reprinted, its that crazy powerful cards are getting printed all the time which sorta invalidate past cards. Project booster fun has created lots of supply, and lots of showcase, borderless and rare cards are cheaper now then they were before, but you also have lots of pushed cards being printed like Sheoldred and Ragavan which end up being crazy expensive due to their high demand. You end up needing these cards to make your deck relevant, which creates a constant arms race for whatever the new busted card that wizards prints is. I personally have quite a large collection of cards, but whenever I look into making a deck (especially for 60 card formats) I never end up having the cards for it, and they end up being some of the more expensive cards. On top of all of this booster packs are too unreasonable to do anything with except draft, and even though whales opening all these packs does help the price and make cards cheaper, the best of the best rarely follow this trend. There are some exceptions (like Sol Ring, for example) that get reprinted enough to be affordable, but it usually takes a long time for cards to reach this point. Even something like Doubling Season which just got back to back reprints will still not even be close to affordable. Sorry my little comment turned into a rant, but this is just what I think about it.
Fun fact, my "OG Dual Land" is a forest with the art covered with silver paint and a little crocodile saying "Bayou" drawn over the top in biro >;)
Now that is living

Enemy fetches are low. The original fetches are not cheap at all. Haven’t been reprinted again since 2014.
What's the price of Rakdos Scam in modern right now?
