Nascars greatest era of racing for sure! Love the cars, the tracks, and the drivers. Always pulled for Awesome Bill, Tim Richmond, Rusty, and the Intimidator of course!
I was there thst day. Infield tween turns 3 & 4 .. Group of us went every March & November back then.. scaffolding 2 wide & 2 high!! Infield was AWESOME back then.. You could see the entire track at Atlanta. I was at race where Bill Elliott' right rear tire changer, Mike Rich, got killed when Ricky Rudds rear brakes locked up coming inti the pits.. Bill was leading race at the time & had just pulled into his pit.. Rudd was 5th.. Rudds car spun around and Rich was smashed between the cars.. He never knew what hit him.. Also at the race when Grant Adcox got killed in turn 1
I Like Atlanta Motor Speedway 1.522 Mile Track From The 70s 80s And Early 90s In My Opinion NASCAR History By The Way Buick LeSabre And Chevrolet Monte Carlo Super Sport Fastback Aero Coupe Totally Amazing Badass NASCAR Winston Cup Series Thanks For Uploading
Hey, not sure if you guys take upload requests, but it would be totally awesome if y'all uploaded the 2005 Coca-Cola 600. Cant find the full race in HQ on RUclips. It's my all time favourite JJ win (which absolutely pains me to say as a Labonte fan 😭)
Back in those days every race in Atlanta was called "The Atlanta 500" by the commentators...even though it was Motorcraft 500 in the spring and Atlanta Journal 500 in the fall.
Wish I could watch this but my hatred for Sam Posey is so strong I just can't do it. Need Bobby Unser to counter act Sam's snobery and keep him in check like the Indy broadcasts back in the day.
🏁Always enjoy watching these vintage races!!🏁

Will you guys at some point be uploading qualifying sessions? I think that would be as awesome.
did they broadcast qualifying back then?

When will NASCAR Classics start uploading the older Xfinity, Nationwide, and Busch races of the past? Possible older truck series races as well?
Nah.
@@briansenecal3071 well maybe I would like to watch them lol
@@MarkMeadows90 Nah.
They can’t even upload the old interlaced content to 720p60 so anything else ain’t happening
@@bobbbobb4663 some of the videos on here are in 60 FPS. On NASCAR's RUclips channel, they have classic races on there in 60 FPS as well.
"Why'd you guys stay out?"
"We didn't."
Masterclass. 40:36
When did they use skew on the set up. Which is turning the body a little left on the frame. I think.

What??? No Toyotas??? 😂😂😂 LOVE IT!!!
Glad to see Chevrolet take the 300 last week.
In retrospect the talk on tim Richmond is sad. Would have lived with modern medicine.
earnhardt was so dominant this race. if his battery hadn't given up at the end he would've lapped the entire field.
Can you upload Mark Martin's first win?
Back in those days every race in Atlanta was called "The Atlanta 500" by the commentators...even though it was Motorcraft 500 in the spring and Atlanta Journal 500 in the fall.
Why did you stop uploading?
ABC was so bad with announcers LOL
Until they just used Bob Jenkins and Benny Parsons I'd agree
Jerry Gappens recently passed away....

the intimidator spoiled the motorcraft race
The announcers were insufferable
Weird
Sam Posey is actually a great broadcaster. Especially if you watch old ALMS races and some CART races
Adcar is even more Adcar on adtube.
Billboards are us, is where it's at.
It's a trap!
Oh wait that was ACKbar.
Dang burn announcers talking ain't gotta clue what's goin own in niss race here lol....
I haven't watched a cup race in well over 15 years due to PC and wokeness and the stupid rule changes
poor woke nascar. i love the flag
