    What is a law that YOU would make?

    • @SpinX522
      @SpinX522 7 месяцев назад +8

      Not so much make, more like reverse and also reinstate.
      1) I would overturn Citizens United which grants personhood to corporations.
      2) I would reinstate the Glass-Steagall Act who’s repeal by Bill Clinton is seen as one of the things that led to the 2008 financial crisis.

      1. Reinstate Roe vs. Wade, making abortion legal nationwide.
      2. Agree on overturning Citizens United.
      3. Pass a law banning people convicted of a felony from running for the Presidency/Senate/House of Representatives in the United States.
      4. Pass a law with clear language defining and limiting Presidential immunity.
      5. Have each state pass laws banning police officers from using qualified immunity as a defense in state courts.

Drug stores and bakeries could but anything else had to wait until long after church got out. Alcohol could not be sold or purchased on Sunday until after noon. Time bars closed depended on the county. Bars where I lived closed at midnight went to college and they closed at 3am.

    Hello Fellow Humans,
    So I grew up poor. So I did this when I was 11 maybe 12. I had my hoodie on and I reached for candy at a gas station and I would look like I was putting it back and I actually put it in my sleeves. I bought one but I took like 5 candy bars. I feel bad but it was from a shell and it is still there today so clearly they are doing fine as that was in the middle of the 90s. Like 1994 or something like that. I still feel bad, but I was tired of my rich friends having king size candy bars and I didn't have any at all. Good ole peer pressure and poor vs rich people. Maybe we should do away with money and help everyone. But I give food to people all the time so it balances out. For example when I worked at Starbucks they tossed all food away daily. So I would take sandwiches and pastries on my bike and as I rode home I would give the food out to homeless people. We really waste so much in the USA.
