I loved this movie as a child (I was born in '62) when my parents introduced me to it, then as an adult I bought it on DVD. I introduced it to our five year old grandaughter shortly before she passed and she watched it almost every day. She too loved it. Thank you Lucy and Desi for giving my family four generations of laughs!

I saw it by pure luck and it kept me entertain the entire movie, and I can say I could see their partnership above all to make it happen, and the love between them.

Lucie Arnaz is so funny and witty. She had me laughing out loud at times. Lovely, lovely lady. I'm so glad she seems to be deeply and happily married. God bless her!!!

What a fantastic interview, very insightful! Lucie Arnaz is so very well spoken. I can't help but see Lucy and Desi's characters in "The Long, Long Trailer" as their "I Love Lucy" characters. It's really not a far stretch. That's what makes the movie great because it's "I Love Lucy" in movie form.

She has always been so engaging to listen too. You can immediately tell the chemistry she has not only with Ben, but the whole audience.

Vivian was a hard-core stage actress. Surprised she took the tv role.

Thanks for posting this. I missed this lecture.
There were so many overlapping activities. I did manage to see her show at the Tube.

Wow, Lucie looks fantastic. She must be 70, but looks about 40.

I'd like to say a word for/about the gutsy Laurence Luckinbill who in the late 60s took the thankless job of a role in the film The Boys in the Band. We now know its a masterpiece but it was about the riskiest thing an actor could do back then.

I Love Lucy Arnaz...even more now I know she married Sybok....just a minuscule comment
.....star trek was not Ray Bradberry as she commented....it was Gene Roddenberry...but my love for her Being American Royalty is Still UNWAVERING!!!! especially since she married Spocks half brother.....grin
