Emptiness means infinite relativity, I haven't heard that before, it is excelent!! thank you for this great talk!

This is what I don't get about Buddhism. Infinite relativity means no absolute. But how can you have a philosophy or religion without any absolute? From what perspective can you then argue? My own perspective is that Buddhism is a revaluation of Hinduism, placing the focus on ridding oneself of wrong perspectives, therefore removing the focus on Brahman, though the ultimate absolute is the same.

@@zootsoot2006 Infinite relativity means impermanence in other word. No such an absolutism as your perspective. Please understand proper interpretation first. Buddhist reject extreme views of eternalism and nihilism. Buddhist clearly follows madhiyamaka view. Sunyavada in other word. By the way what is Hinduism? Have we had such an absolute Hinduism?

I like his turquoise bracelet. The indiginous nations of turtle island had a beautiful way before the European came and outlawed them . Good way of understanding is making its way back. The language and the ceremonies. WoLakota

I’ve also seen boddhi being translated as intelligence or wisdom and sattva as lucid, so boddhisattva could also be translated as “intelligence lucidity” or “wise lucidity”, which could mean “one who possesses wise lucidity”

    I appreciate him speaking.
It is also important to include critical, no matter how unpleasant at the moment.
Our gift is being able to easily learn from others mistakes. Or at least least how to best do it ouraelves, to demonstrate well to others.
I am currently caring around Essential Tibetan Buddhism when i walk.
The mala in my pocket makes me chuckle when i am tols i look like a priest. But i also know that in western society, a priest is seen as the ultimate forgiver. Essentially the ear and forgiveness sceptre, of god.
The best advice i can give, find a good teacher and get good pointers towards learning. A true teacher will point you in the right direction. But not provide you with a direct answer. Guided meditations and pith instructions are but a description of what is only trully known with the vacuity of language. It will also save 20 years of research. But on the other hand, with out directly experiencing the adversity, things take far longer.
It is also important the concept of mind creating framework, be presented in our current state of the world.

What book does he refer which he says he translated, at the beginning of the talk? It's not understandable.

Keep in mind I'm just ASSUMING THIS because he says @ around 1:55 "It's MARVELOUS. It's like an ANTHOLOGY of all the Mahayana Suttas."
