Banda Sucre - Giovanni Orsomando

BANDA SUCRE was composed in 1951 and dedicated to the symphonic band of Sucre, a Bolivian town in the Andes. When P.J.Molenaar heard this symphonic march at an early World Music Contest in Kerkrade, performed by the Milan Railway Band, he immediately wanted to publish it. This proved to be a wise decision.

Excuse me, an explanation. . . The March was composed in honor of the musician Laudelino Mejias Director of the 'Sucre' Band of Trujillo State, Venezuela. In an old score of Italian edition, property of the band of the state Trujillo 'Laudelino Mejias', the maestro Orsomando dedicates it to the composer Mejias.

Mi scusi, un chiarimento. . . La marcia è stata composta in onore del musico Laudelino Mejias banda Direttore 'Sucre' di Trujillo, Venezuela. In un vecchio punteggio di edizione italiana, di proprietà di Trujillo banda Stato 'Laudelino Mejias', il maestro Orsomando è dedicata al compositore Mejias
