George Morris Riding Chandler

April 4th 2014. George Morris Clinic at Willow Dell Equestrian Center in Senoia, Ga. Here George Morris rides Chandler, Jamie Bertone's 16 year old Thoroughbred gelding. My battery died, but at the end he said "There's some horses I can't wait to get off of, and there's others I don't want to give back and could just ride off into the sunset." (Chandler being one of the latter!)

He was yelling at one of the riders in the clinic (who was standing behind one of the jumps off by herself) to come up where the others where standing and "make that a straight line! Get up here! Yo! Straight!" lol

I guess it just pissed him off. and then he goes yo and realizes he was a little harsh. yikes. I still really like him.

He bullies people with his big mouth and that horse is sixteen and it is so *not* supple and stressed that it is washing out! I thought he was supposed to know what he is doing? I've seen beginner riders, who don't hang on the horse's mouth and jab with the bit like he is doing, and he claims he knows how much he can get away with. It is sad that people are still fooled into believing he is relevant. :(

George is known for being "rough" with disagreeable horses as he demonstrates in this video. So sad to see this method is still being taught and people are actually paying to attend his clinics. Yanking on the horse's mouth for discipline. He makes a point of do as I say not what I do when he tells the audience not to do that. I'd never let George ride my horse.
