No rust on my 2016 500r. You just have to store it in a garage and put a cover on it when it has to sit outside in the rain. I probably wash it once or twice a year lol...
Yeah that would make a huge difference, I guess the angle I was coming from is that just because it's a reliable Honda doesn't mean it magically won't rust. Not that I thought It would but oh well.
Why did you drop it. I think I got one of the last 2023 red 500r here in Cali. Bought mine late January 2024. I dropped it once already and it fell on the exahust. Although it is ugly I think it saved my bike from any damage. There’s a smudge on my exahust that doesn’t come out that’s it
thanks for that nice review about the cbr500r 🙂 but why is everyone talking about the ninja 400 is sooooo much cheaper.... its not that much cheaper..... here in austria : ninja 400 7499,- cbr500r 7790,- ..... 300 difference thats it
Thus is a bit out of date now. When I bought my bike about 4 years ago the cbr was more like 800-1000 more. Kawasaki had some really good deals on back then. I see they are very similar in price now.
Thanks for that ACF tip! I’m not riding my CBR500R in wet conditions so I’m wondering if thanks for that my bike will not rust or I should use ACF-50 anyway?
The looks of exhaust is very subjective and can’t be considered as a negative thing. I personally like the looks of it very much.
Hey this whole video is subjective! :) It's definetly not the worst but I think I'll still change it.

I would do it anyway for sure! No harm in doing it, I wish I had some it sooner! - I barely ride in the rain too
@@parallelfinn thanks! ☺️
Was just wondering what that buzzing sound was earlier today, had no idea it was the screen 😂
its such a weird quirk xD
There is an easy fix for it :)
@@ElCoco1984 what is it?
Nice 👍👍👍
so there really isn't anything wrong with the bike.
Fundamentally, no. I can see past all these things and would buy the bike again in a heartbeat.
