- Are Husks good enough to be the new best Bandle Tree deck?
In today's video, I built an Evelynn Bandle Tree deck! Since there's a husk for every region, and all of Evelynn's support cards spawn a random husk...it was a no-brainer to put these two together! Evelynn also spawns a free husk EVERY ROUND END, which allows us to end the game very quickly with a little bit of luck! Though this deck does rely on quite a bit of RNG, what Bandle Tree deck doesn't?

That's actually a extremely smart deck. I wouldn't even thought about the fact that you can use husk to activate bandle tree
imo it's still a meme deck, bandle tree is very bad card after the nerfs and you have to be a little lucky to win with this

I love the quality of your videos I've said it before! Although the constant camera jumps is visually exhausting, the card zoom ins every few seconds specifically. It makes a relatively static game more dynamic for sure but I'm lowkey dizzy lmao. Love everything else, game, personality, visuals just that one gripe.

i tried this a week ago, won 2 times by Evelynn randomly summoning the final region. still lost to agro since you need 2-3 unusable slot
After buffs to Hate Spike and Mayor, I've been trying to build and Eve and Tree deck myself. Still don't have a good blend but I do like some of the ideas you have. Might be worth it for you to revisit this archetype.

To be fair, this deck doesn't work great if you don't draw Bandle Tree. And you don't draw it about 50% of the time...so I wouldn't say it always "works," per se. But it is fun when it does. 😅
Would you mind sharing what software you use for your editing?
Adobe Premiere Pro! I'd recommend trying Davinci Resolve first though, which is free.

A lvl 1 crook would spam an uninteractive Kaisa deck, but it takes a lvl 30 mafia boss to give a bunch of poor souls bandle tree ptsd ;)

Would be nice if you could calm it with the zoom-ins though. You wanna reserve those for things that warrant the viewer's attention.

too many pan in zoom can becoming confusing imo
Seems like a very fun deck but kinda inconsistent since you can't control the regions of your husks. I do wish that instead of killing BT they would just give it a different effect like "give your multi region units +3/+3", I think that would make it a much more interesting win con instead of just being a boring "win you the game" card.
Personally, I love Bandle Tree. I've always been a big fan of the alt win-con cards, because they open up so much more creativity for deckbuilding. But yeah, this deck is a very RNG-based. I think its biggest weakness is not the husks, but rather the lack of draw. There's just no great way to proc Bandle Tree when your ONLY region is BC.

DUDEEEEEEEEEE its me Vassago, I have a deck idea that you might like Scavenged Camocloak + Middenstoke Henchmen with demacia.
That was the first deck I thought of when I saw Camocloak get revealed. I was thinking demacia as well for unyielding spirit, so you can have undying henchmen...good reminder. I'll make sure I do this one soon(ish). 👀
i paired 3 caitlyn and 3 garen for this deck and ran 3 camocloak 1 sumpworks map, 3 golden aegis 1 relentless pursuit.
i think unyielding is a bit greedy so i ran 2 reggie (ferros financier) so i can pull it off from him, i also ran 3 fleetfeather, 3 zaunite urchin, 3 boom baboon, 3 broadwing, and 2 sump dredgers. the discard-draw cards are good for cycling since demacia tends to brick and not have enough draws, both reggie and boom baboon can also give discard fodders.
for spells i ran 3 off sharpsight, 2 single combat and 2 concerted strike.
so far its been fun, im not yet confident with the spell distributions but with the units im prettty sure i have the right ones.
@@vassago7231 Unyielding is definitely a little greedy, it requires a certain playstyle. Basically you just need to keep passing until your opponent goes below X amount of mana and can't deny it. Usually 4 mana since Midenstokke has 4 health.

@@vassago7231 exaaaactly. you want them to go under 4 mana. There's not much they can do with 3 mana to kill your Middenstoke. Except for disintegrate + blade's edge. But who plays that combo...? 😛
This is what I missed the most, being a casual player who tried to explore different decks. for those of you who just want to have fun, I suggest staying out of rank games. because once you reach master rank you are enslaved to play the best deck, unless defeat doesn't bother you. rank is a cruel world for innovative decks

But I still play ranked. I haven't reached the gigachad levels of inner peace that lead to playing normals quite yet. 😛
I like the video and all bug ghere is too much zooms. I like little cut to make the vidéo watchable but zoom everywhere and for no reason is just annoiyng

since evelyn bandle tree works wouldnt evelyn tristana technically work as well
Not really, because Tristana requires you to summon multi-region allies. Husks only have 1 region each. So they wouldn't synergize with her at all... :P

This is a good video but this deck is like expecting to activate bandle tree with poro sled. You cannot guerantee any flavor of husk.
Kinda true, but the upside of husks is you're able to summon them WAY more often. Your odds of hitting the exact right husk when you're like 7/10 is pretty low, but it does speed up the early game a bit
nice video man, but I think I'm the only one who doesn't prefer the excessive zoom it distracts me if you don't mind doing it less often 🙏
You're definitely not the only one! Gonna try to find a good balance with the zooms so they're not too distracting. I appreciate the feedback

After a while of playing it on ladder, it's actually really strong. Even without a Bandle Tree, I was able to beat Kai'sa Demacia (3x Kai'sa, 1 void abomination). But it's still a pretty RNG based deck. Not the most reliable for sure

Yup, I've played it a lot since recording this video. You end up drawing Bandle Tree only about 50% of the time, and the deck's not strong enough to win without Bandle Tree unfortunately. It's missing a solid way to proc Bandle Tree, but still fun whenever you're able to draw it. 😛
All the zoom effects are nauseating

To keep things entertaining! This type of editing is fairly normal for non-LoR videos...still working on finding a good balance between 0 zooms and too many zooms though.😛
The constant dramatic zoom-pan on totally normal cards was a bit much, less is more for that kind of thing

OMG HE GOT THE ATTACK TOKEN AS PER THE RULES OF THE GAME WOW
The main reason is I actually use zooms as a transition to skip over portions of the video where nothing's happening (like waiting for the opp to play something). Since you can't see my facecam, it makes it really easy to cut without anybody noticing. It's clear I've gone a little too overboard with the zooms though...I'll dial it back for future videos 😛

The masculine urge to zoom in on every goddamn action.. like for real it gets way too distracting ^^" tone it down a notch. Keep it for the actual important events that the viewers need to pay attention to, or even for comedic purposes. (Not on every card draw, attack token gained, and God know what else). Aprat from that, the deck seems pretty cool!
