@@DontEatSmurfs the combo works with any rallying unit though. From the janky Hallowed Dragon deck with that "if you behold a dragon" rally unit, to Reputation, to Midnight Raid, to Tiana Crownguard. Not limiting the Eternal Dancer to activate once per turn like Kalista is makes me think they did almost no playtesting/experimentation with the card, and also forgot the time when somebody in playtesting did this with Kalista, causing them to slap a once per turn effect onto her before release

@@allanmusso9256 Kalista still needs to level up and can only revive followers. Dancer of death can revive dead champions and there is alot of champion under 3 power, including Gwen, and almost always champions are considered the strongest unit if it has tied atk with a follower.

Sure her dead ally wont block for her but there are many ways to work around the fact that she will take dmg when she attacks. With 6 hp she will definitely get to hit 2 times in her lifespan and with combat tricks it would probably be more. Pair that with the ton of rallying cards in this game and you will get an unstoppable, uninteractive disaster.
all the combo infinites is cancer its absolutely is considerably worse than a comparison to Kalista.....no one wants to lose this braindead garbage. I'm playing my Rimefang winter deck til this shit is fixed.
And that's why, like it or not, Silence is very important in this game and deserves to exist. Each keyword salad/ability abuse that come to light only make it more impactful. Nothing is sweeter than a Kaisa surrendering on the spot after being Hushed.

I just realized that I accidentally countered the combo yesterday. My opponent started the combo and was like "with Stress Defense I can buy me some think." Then I wondered why the Dancers revived a Spiderling.
This deck is actually pretty strong against decks without many removals, especially kill cards, as Grapp went on winning more games with the deck. Of course it can be rushed down by aggro if it doesn’t have the drains and early units
GrappLr, can we try a Gwen Pyke deck? we can use some kegs to power up Gwen in this too, the piranha really gets well with the hallowed buffs, and we can grant Pyke atack with hallowed, get he leveled up, and start using the buff to wipe out the board, and in some bricked hands, even having an eternal dancer that can revive a Pyke if he lurks 1 or 2 times or if any unit died, we can help in the level up progress, maybe we can put more interactions in it too, gwen can easily activate plunder cards when attacking, and hallowed units already make pressure to get block, more chances to get plunder, and bilge has some elusives, scouts or overwhelm too
This was the deck I was looking forward to, as soon as Dancers was revealed. (However I think it might be better to not go all-in on the combo, but rather just play a Gwen/Noxus deck, since Reckoner is pretty good with Gwen anyway, even if you dont go infinite.)

Dancer being able to creates infinites like this is deffinitely going to put it on the nerf list. Taric's interactions have been nerfed for very similar reasons. remember that just because it is possible to counter, does not mean it's not incredibly unhealthy to have in the game. If everyone has to dedicate a not insignificant number of cards in their deck just to deal with a 3 card combo, that is not a great sign. The only way I can see this not getting nerfed is if the meta turns super aggro and the combo just doesn't have enough time to come online anyways.

Sick Combo. One lamb respite resolves, you've basically won the game, but I don't think this requires a nerf. You can only do this combo if the dancer is the only unit on board. You can also kill the dancer preemptively or wait for the respite and do that at fast speed. It really only seems to work if the opponent doesn't expect it.
its all depend of play rate and consistency, if that happens a lot and easily just like ledros-dreadway, will neead a nerf, because you cant interact so its broken
They are going to nerf it doing something like "i can only do this one time every turn" or some other way to nerf it because at this point is like "The watcher", you attack, wait a little bit and win

Kalista worked like that a long time ago. I don't know why they would think to print another 'Kalista' effect and think that it would be ok. ^^

What pisses me is not the combo but its actually making this card better than leveled Kalista who can only activate her ability once per turn.
If Kalista wasn't once per turn she'd completely break the game, since the revived ally takes damage for her.
Well the eternal dancers cost 6, Kalista 3 and they only can revive allies with same or less power, in my opinion that's ok

Taric's interactions have been nerfed for very similar reasons. remember that just because it is possible to counter, does not mean it's not incredibly unhealthy to have in the game.
