This is more reminiscent of Kirby's Great Cave Offensive than anything, but that's just me.

@Robertino Tanos Yeah, if I was the maker I would make my own set of enemies, change out the world textures and make it a full game and sell it. I mean you probably won't make a mint but it could help to fund more things.

@@Worgen33 Trust me... Share ware make a demo like the first 3 levels. but they gotta buy the full game thats how doom got as popular as it did cause you could freely share the demo an people would see it play it wanting more and they'd go and buy it that or the donation model would do great.
dont forget kirby and wario assets cause there's quite a few of them just on the pickups/hud/sounds
The hud is the best part of this mod. From Doomguy's face to the weapon selectors being literally Kirby Super Star.
So basically, it's Wario DOOM? I'm sold.

The little blinking Doomguy (or Tech Guy now I guess) icon is oddly adorable, especially in the heavily injured state.

This feels like a perfect companion mod for Golden Souls.
But is it actually compatible with it?
@@ZGURemixer I don't think so. Golden Souls has its own set of weapons so adding Treasure Tech would probably fuck up how the game works.

you probably should've disclosed that epic, one of the map packs you're using in this showcase, has enemy sprite replacements which is why there are some minor visual oddities in this video
icarus always has trouble disclosing the full load list. He always runs with Bolognese or some other blood mod, too.

That Doomguy helmet animation is just so cute!
My ears do not lie. The music playing in the first level you show as soon as the video starts seems to be an 16bit cover of "Temple of Love" by Sisters of Mercy.
The emoting Goomguy helmet is really weird. It also reminds me of a GM head.
Gotta love all the little graves enemies drop, all with their unique visuals as well.

I know I'm late here but, I love goofy over the top mods like this, it's not just OP weapons, but unique mechanics and abilities, I'll take a labor of love like this over AAA cutting edge graphics, and same old same game play everytime.

I'm not sure what I like more about this, the weapons having a Nightmare in Dreamland/Amazing Mirror-esque copy ability icon on the HUD, or the lolz you had while crouching.
The Hornet's normal fire sounds like the MA5B Assault Rifle from Halo: Combat Evolved. Very nice touch :)

I think it says something about how foundational Doom's aesthetic is to us that we can easily accept this cartoony stuff layered on top of it. The actual Doom part of the mod might as well be beige wallpaper, not because it's unexciting, but because it feels completely neutral.

This mod seems like it would synergize insanely well with OBLIGE judging from what I see in this video. A campaign would also be 200% awesome but I wanna try this layout of weapons and upgrade systems in a roguelite format too.
