Thanks for the very professional demonstration! Saved our La-Z-Boy chair - busted spring, ordered one from diyupholsterysupply, along with the spring stretcher, staple remover and some clamps and a couple hours work (getting the staples out was a pain!!). We had to partly dismantle the chair, but it went back together like a dream and probably good for another 10 years, although all we really need is 6 months! Saved us a thousand bucks for a new one!!

Dig the help! You say 1-1.5" shorter then rail to rail. Now that from outside, inside or CL of the EK/G clips?
But you need caul or the like for the stretcher as to not mar the wood. You left some nice dents behind.
