    Hey Bob,... I know those customers, that's Adam and his mom! (I'm related to them). I'm also from Alaska, and I know about glaciers, and a glacier would have to stop and let their current little box-store splitter catch up! They're going to like using that Wolf Ridge a lot! :)

    I had a guy come over and run my Wolfe for a bit. When I put a chunk of oak on the beam and split it sideways, he said, I'm sold. He called them the next week and ordered one up.

    28 Pro is a great all around splitter! Adam was right it’s very capable and has handled everything I have thrown on it!! I really liked the gray color on it! Good stuff Bob!👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸

    I think it’s a great idea having the consumer running your machines . His opinion strikes home with many . That’s a genius marketing tool right there ! It would be neat to see a “ box store” splitter side by side to one of yours .

      @erichk1674 Chris Wolfe did such a video a long time ago. The 28PRO "homeowner grade" splitter smoked the "professional grade" box store splitter. Try searching for "wolfe ridge dusty tool log splitter". Should be at the top of the list.

      Thank you! We might try this again some time, I just don’t want to throw shade at other manufacturers in the process.

    Bob, that is a Super Splitter that 28pro. It can handle almost anything very impressed. I am still interested in the 17VS. I do think it would (Wood) fit my Needs just Right.
    Unfortunately with my Medical Bills and Every Thing it's a little bit out of Reach for now. I suffered a Heart Attack minor last Thursday Night. I am home resting up now till I can Start Cutting and Splitting again about 2weeks. Then 1to 2hours a Day, every other Day. My Cardiologist said because of my Top Phyical Condition is what helped me out Big Time. At 72yrs I do have to finally Slow Down.
    Can you give me a Price for a 17VS, and Shipment to 12306, Western Schenectady County, New York, also used is Fine with me. Thank You Much, Ron.

      Hi Ron. I can quote that for you, I’ll send it via email. We don’t have anything used at the moment, and I’ve yet to see one of our vertical splitters go up for sale used yet. But I’m sure at some point they’ll be on the used market.
      I wish you the best with your health and hope things get better!

      @VicsYard Hey Vic, just Subscribed to your Channel Buddy. Yes in Duanesburg, Princetown, and Backyard Rotterdam. I am looking for either Hickory Logs or Oak Logs, any where from about 12 to 16inch Diameter. About 20. About how Much Would that cost me absolutely no hurry in the Price. Thank you Ron.

      @ No hickory right now. Couple red and white oaks. If they don’t sell as saw logs soon they will go for firewood. Last couple loads 1,200 BFT or 3 cord on the truck. $550

    I feel spoiled by the grunt and features of my 28C. If I was only doing my own wood, I'd be more than happy with the 28PRO.

      Good point. The 10.5 second cycle time is plenty fast for most people.

      @@BacktoBob1 when I'm fresh and the rounds are neatly staged, I can be waiting on my 6.5sec cycle-time.

    Good quality machine, the ram speed looks a bit slow compared to many other machines on RUclips?

    • @BurlyBaldBearded
      @BurlyBaldBearded 7 дней назад +1

      The 28Pro runs a 10.5s cycle time. The 28C and 28HO run a 6.5 cycle time with an upgraded cylinder. We couldn't justify the additional cost of one of those units for our small/residential operation but a 10.5s cycle time will still be a huge upgrade from our current 17s cycle time.

    • @BacktoBob1
      @BacktoBob1 7 дней назад

      Thanks Steve! The cycle time is slower than our more higher end machines. Also our RS machines have a faster cycle time but less tonnage, so there’s a trade off.
