I can’t believe we were able to flip Nurkic for Ayton.
Y’all thought Ayton was bad lol Wait until you see Nurk 😅
As a Blazer fan I’m so glad to move on from Nurk. Love this trade!
Ayton, Scoot, Sharpe… The league isn’t ready.
Fr, Nurkic ain’t all that, I’m so stocked to have him replaced
As a suns fan, I’m no longer a suns fan, I’m a DA stan and blazers fan now. Hope y’all accept me 😁

Welcome to Portland where you will be loved and respected as long as you compete. Can't wait to see you and the squad out there. It's a new day in Rip City!! #GoBlazers
lol he quit in the playoffs twice 😂😂
It’s the as long he competes part that’s important.
You don’t think suns fans would love and respect him if he competed?
@@dr.munchmicuchi4878 Nah I'm not saying that. I think Nurk and Ayton both will benefit from a change of scenery and a clean slate. I also think both just found a better fit with their new, respective teams. I hope you guys enjoy Nurk. We're gonna miss him for sure.
@@gabriellejimenez5696 So did Nurkic. I saw Ayton dominate as well and contribute a lot to a finals run at only 23 years of age. I love Nurk but we never one a single series with him, let alone get 2 wins away from a championship so u might wanna save your laughy faces. BTW I seem to recall Chris Paul choking big time in that finals series too.
Scoot and Ayton bout to be absolutely lethal in the pick n roll
Don’t forget about Ant
That’s what suns thought too. Maybe he turns it around, but this might be every dunk he’s had in last 5 years.
@@dr.munchmicuchi4878 That's just ridiculous. Dude shoots 60% FGs for his career and yall bitch about it and hate on him for not averaging 25+ PPG as the 3rd or 4th option.. Can't say I blame him for wanting out of Phoenix.
Do u still think this ?
@@DreSkiiiii_007 It’s been 3 games. Did you really expect a 19 year old to be lethal right away
Blazer Legend Deandre Ayton
yessir, Rip City is back 😎
Notice that there’s not a lot of post moves. Cause he has none
Love this for the blazers
Where’s my trailblazer fans here after the Dame trade? Hope he does something for us! 🤞🏼
🫡 gonna be exciting to watch the youth movement
@@MaxaMillion711 Are you able to edit video titles on RUclips, or did you prophesize this trade into existence 8 days early LOL
@@tren133edited, I watched it minutes before it was originally called, "Ayton's 22-23 best highlights!"
Let's gooooo!
Yeah I thinks Suns fans going to regret this trade big time! Ayton had tons of potential Nurkic was the most frustrating player I’ve ever had to watch in Portland if Suns fans didn’t like Ayton they’re about hate Nurk!
Scoot, Shaedon, and Ayton... If any of my fellow Blazer fans are about to complain about trading a disgruntled star and ending up with that trio needs to reevaluate their idea of an exciting team.
Ayton is similar to AD and Paul George in the way that people talk about him as if he's trash but he's actually a really good player. Also like those guys he just doesn't play hard all the time. Doesn't make him bad though
Holy shit this is a good take
💯
Difference is those guys have had offenses catered to their games and as many touches as they wanted. Ayton has not.
Facts bro !!!!
@@TheIcemanthomasno way was he good enough to give him all the touch’s he wanted. He has a very high turnover rate with the ball in his hands.
He had like 3 years where he was the number two option. Then had like 3 years with Chris freaking Paul and book outside (a.k.a. plenty of room). Yet we never really see dominAyton. I don’t really want a player that needs that much catering to play his best.
bro called it
You knew
You knew he knew
A big that actually dunks the ball wow, not used to that with the way nurkic would do these lil floaters
He may lead the league in FG % this year with the easy looks he should be getting
But are they even gonna look to get him the ball? No cp may be an issue for aytons touches even more than they already were.
He had better numbers before CP got there@@TheIcemanthomas
@@TheIcemanthomas Damian Lillard, for all his greatness, was never a good lobber. Scoot Henderson on the other hand, should make sure Ayton continues to be a huge lob threat. And if you've got Scoot, Sharpe, and Ayton all steaming down court in transition it is poster city.
@@TheIcemanthomas scoot seems like a pass first pg like cp3 … I think ayton is gonna get tons of easy looks
@@TheIcemanthomasScoot will feed him. 100.
My favorite player! DA just gotta be consistent, confident & look for his own shots
Scoot will feed him. It's going to be fun.
People are sleepig on the blazers the young studs we have plus ayton and grant thats going to be a problem for other teams
Welcome to rip city 💪💥❤️🖤
If D-A develops better post moves, develops a reliable mid-range jumper and goes on a defensive tear this season - Phoenix is winning the chip this season!
LOL do you realize how much you just ask for
this is what it takes@@ampecsu
He only needs to play defense and have better ball control. He already got the mid range
@@areumad9565 not consistently though
Portable*
All the hate he got in phoenix is just dumb. This guy is twice the player that Nurkic is and has all the potential in the world. I will gladly accept him at center. So happy Portland finally moved on from Dame. Love the guy. He just is never winning a ring. Can’t play defense worth anything. Scoot time now let’s go
I have weird mixed feelings about Dame. I would still love the guy if he didn't almost torpedo Portland's chance of trading him anywhere but Miami. That was really weird and shitty. The fanbase has been nothing but supportive, and the Team signed Nurk specifically for dame, also signed Grant specifically on Dame request, and then he does all that noise. It was such a weird heel turn for a guy that has been nothing but professional. And all it did was hurt fans and get him sent to Milwaukee. (The opposite of Miami)
TROLL. So quick to bash the best pg in the NBA the last decade not named Steph.
@@Habeev07not a troll, just someone else with an opinion.
Good job!!!
He is more explosive than he looks !! The blazers are going to be fun to watch!!
I as well can't believe the Blazers got Ayton (a young, All-Star caliber center) for Nurkic, and Phoenix got what they wanted too.
Plays for blazers now
GO BLAZERS. WELCOME AYTON.
As a suns fan I think because he came into a “win now” kinda team he lost his freedom really to grow. Lost his “lion”. He always looked shy or hesitant in the court but he avg 16 and 10 with absolutely nothing called for him
I hope he does great I’m Portland I’ll dead ass miss him. He’s phoenix’s biggest what if
Lost his “Lion” with a real chance to play for a championship
@@saucyb3585 yea..? He was put on a leash since day 1. Let’s not pretend you’re confused or don’t know what I’m talking about. He was relegated to the 3rd/ 4th option as a number 1 pick immediately
@@gaboswrld he’s soft. I’ve seen him live. Absolute freak of nature, clearly the most athletic man on the court. He should easily average 20-10+ but absolutely refuses to bang down low. The tell is the amount of fouls he draws per 36. While he has a good jumper he’d rather settle avoiding contact at all costs. Relays on his athleticism rather than good positioning as he gets muscles out of the paint by players much smaller than him. He’s also gives up on plays with questionable effort play to play or games at a time.
Even my 10 year old son, while at a game asked, how come that guy isn’t near the basket and how does he only have 2 rebounds?
He’s essentially a female shooting guard in the body of a gifted Greek god.
The endless excuses are pathetic. He either played his best and played his way off the team or mailed it in to find his way off the team. Either way it’s not a good look.
@@saucyb3585 exactly he just. Idk it’s like he doesn’t want it. He’s not hungry
@@gaboswrld first you respond that he was put on a leash but now agree he doesn’t want it?
I mean it seems like you agree with me so your first response seems likes arguing for argument sake.
Good play changing the title of this video after the trade. I see you. 😂
🤫 lol
Lob City #scoot2ayton
Looking forward to seeing Ayton of that pick & roll. 🎉
Someone needs to get him in the film room and watch some tapes on Dwight Howard and try to get him to learn crazy dunks to improve his coordination
No. He need to watch some DAVID ROBINSON.
Some Ben Wallace too. Chauncey should be able to get some footage.
His rookie and sophomore highlights are better he just stopped trying cause he was treated as a third option 😐 hopefully the blazers don’t do that
Deandre Softon
This says posted 9 days ago. How they know if the trade was announced today.
Probably edited
IF DEANDRE AYTON#22 FOCUSES ON REBOUNDING/DEFENSE .. THE PHOENIX SUNS CAN WIN A NBA 🏀 CHAMPIONSHIP 🏆 ..
He shoudktn have to do that. He should be getting his shots. He was drafted for his OFFENSE and rebounding not his defense. If the suns would actually run a true offense with some off ball actions, they’d unlock aytons game even more. But they wanna just run a bunch of stagnant iso which doesn’t allow them to open up the floor enough for ayton to get enough touches in the post. He wasn’t drafted number 1 to be Clint capela.
@@TheIcemanthomasThats facts. They want to turn him into a Clint Capela type of center now when he was drafted NUMBER 1 OVERALL. He should be averaging 23 and 11 by now. Ideally if he ended up in Indiana last year he probably would have done just that and reached his potential by playing next to Haliburton. The Suns should trade him for more depth.
Hes got a lot to prove thia year. I look forward to how he pans out with a younger team. I do wonder why he wasn't happy in Phoenix, though.
Can ayton play pf?
This video doesn’t show but his mid range is so good
Hope this guy can develop a post up move.
ROY Scoot Henderson will get Ayton to play hard with his innate leadership ability.
MaxaMillion711 Trey Murphy your next video 😅😂😅😂😅😂😅
Ayton is either engaged, or he isn't. Portland fans will quickly understand what I mean.
Nurkic is either engaged or he isn't. Suns fans will quickly understand what I mean.
@@GooberMagonkfor half the cost, plus two good defensive bench pieces.
Yeah Suns fans are definitely not going to like Nurkic at all! They talking about Ayton but have no idea they just got the ground bound, injured, pouty version of Ayton that can’t make wide open layups to save his life!
Wished the suns would of kept him
Bro has powers
@@hughjanus5525the power to edit a video title 😂
Get ready for missed layups over guards when it should be dropstep dunks blazers fans and also no defense or rebounds
Big softy
1 game down, you guys regretting it yet? lol
same skillset as clint capella lol
Capela is a lob threat they aren’t even close in terms of talent
He should easily take the next step cause of Booker Beal Durant or he get traded
Greatest paint scorer of today’s NBA
worst take
Joel Embiid and Nikola Jokic still exist fam lmao
DA is the biggest waste of talent. Could literally have Giannis lvl impact on the game. So soft. Andre Drummond 2.0
Maybe he should try playing at the 4
Worst bug in the league
He finessed the easiest payday of modern NBA History with a game predicated on screens and scoring from 2 Feet & In
He literally one of the best scoring bigs in the league with solid defense
True, but he is immensely talented. That doesn't mean much if he doesn't mature.. but if he does he's got everything you want in a center. He's got great feet and touch on his shot, length, very quick ups. good hands, super fluid and mobile.
He was ASKED to play that way. He was a post scoring bigman who rarely got looks in the post.
@@TheIcemanthomasexactly I think guys forget that he was the number 1 pick because of the things he showed in the video combined with his soft touch from midrange and his foot work . The suns made him a pure pick and roll threat
@@TheIcemanthomasnot true, plenty of post ups. He either throws is back, takes a jump shot or turned it over. I’ve seen like 3 good post moves his whole career.
