I have weird mixed feelings about Dame. I would still love the guy if he didn't almost torpedo Portland's chance of trading him anywhere but Miami. That was really weird and shitty. The fanbase has been nothing but supportive, and the Team signed Nurk specifically for dame, also signed Grant specifically on Dame request, and then he does all that noise. It was such a weird heel turn for a guy that has been nothing but professional. And all it did was hurt fans and get him sent to Milwaukee. (The opposite of Miami)

The tell is the amount of fouls he draws per 36. While he has a good jumper he’d rather settle avoiding contact at all costs. Relays on his athleticism rather than good positioning as he gets muscles out of the paint by players much smaller than him. He’s also gives up on plays with questionable effort play to play or games at a time.

If the suns would actually run a true offense with some off ball actions, they’d unlock aytons game even more. But they wanna just run a bunch of stagnant iso which doesn’t allow them to open up the floor enough for ayton to get enough touches in the post. He wasn’t drafted number 1 to be Clint capela.
