Great video! I'm actually making a tutorial on Astrocetus taming and I needed to know which boss the Astrocetus Tek Saddle came from so this helped a ton!
You can also get the saddle from moeder

The main issue is the TIME, if you are solo, you might run out. Would have been nice to get tips on that as it is the most important thing, lasers barely do damage so you can heal fast. Other dinos are countered by your own really good tames, just like any other fight. Speed boosting and other soups + good armor allows to to escape most dinos. The only issue is running out of time...
Same. It's almost impossible considering the Master Controller has 150000 health and you have to exhaust that in 15 minutes. Gamma is definitely easier but still quite difficult. Would definitely recommend backups cause I highly doubt anyone will be one trying it. I took more than 5 attempts to take this thing down! Also the tip about bunching up the tames together really helped.

So I seem to have a bug, because you're not mentioning it. I keep trying to do this on Alpha on single player, but while it works fine to break his shield the first time, the second time he just either stays immune, or puts his shields back up after 1 hit AND my med brews stop working. After that its a race against the clock i just cant win AND I can't heal anymore, making this seem absolutely impossible.
Literally impossible for alpha. Probably the hardest boss fight I've ever done so far (maybe excluding king titan). Would highly recommend bunching up dinos with large attack radius (spino seems to be recommended) as that worked for me.

Thank you for the video? Might I ask what stats your dino's had or if this was done on God mode? I've went in w/ Rex over 85k health, 700% melee & getting mopped. This is with 5 or 6 people grabbing keys as well

I tried it with 8 rexs with about 1k melee 80k+ hp 60 armour saddles and 2 people on reapers, was looking great until we got to when the gigas spawn, we got fucking merked
Genesis is my two favorite map after abberation
I keep trying to kill him with commands, like when he’s vulnerable I use kill command but it doesn’t do damage.
I tried it 3 times today on Xbox and I can't pick up the code keys then it says I died lost 3 sets of armour guns
I feel like Spinos would be more efficient than rexes due to their tiny turning radius and huge AOE
Unridden spinos have a giant turn radius, but ridden spinos are always better than ridden rexes in my opinion

Probably not but I’ve seen people use them on moeder so anything is possible

This boss is almost not possible with legit stuff, primitive i mean.. my rexes on unoficial has 54 hp stat base, and 60 stat dmg. theres just no way i can do it solo. any tips? whissle them simply will not work, as they get stuck and run all over the place.
you cant solo this boss as there is a lot of stuff todo at the same time.

@@weskalsek9394 66 dmg 64 hp now. was even closer today. sadly i died on red bar. that giga hit hard, and all rex gone. rockets works great, and move speed on 300% seem to do the trick on reapers. 250 stm
Armor on saddles?
Will all the dinos I take with me die if I die and lose like it does on other boss battles??

@@GGFizz I have 70k health rexes with 2,700 melee and 88 armor ascendant saddles. Will this be enough for gama if I bring 20 of them and 4 tribe members? I've never done it before. Just Rag and Island bosses are all I have ever done.
Not to be rude but what 's the point of the video if you're on God Mode? Should rename video to "how to access the Corrupted Master Controller" instead of "kill", since it teaches us nothing.

Nobody ever suggests minimum stats or saddles for tames. Anybody have any insight so I dont walk into a slaughter by myself?
You can watch other peoples runs but believe me its really hard the first time it gets easier the more times you do it so expect death
I went it with 30k hp / 800dmg rexes on primitive saddles. I was riding a max addiction ferox on 20k hp. I started to lose Rexes and subsequently died in the final phase but I did it solo so maybe with more people things can be easier. I would love to know if anyone has done this solo, final phase seems impossible due to the damage output even if I went in with better saddles.
@@Psolian i did it with 5 tribemates (including myself) with theris and 100 armor saddles and obviously cakes, it was alpha tho we took some basis to divide them tho
My group did this on an unofficial server last week with lvl 600+ tek rexs with give or take 136 stats in ho and 166 stats in damage all with 88.7 saddles on all. And we got reked on gamma left with only 2-4 rexs. So idk how we are going to do beta let alone alpha.
