Thanks for the video, question Echo SRM 230 will start only if sprayed with carb. cleaner..what may something for me to check. Again, thanks and God Bless

Seems strange that it started and ran good with the choke on. Every Echo I have used will not run with the choke on. Idle seemed a bit high after the choke was turned off too. I am no expert but those two combined makes me wonder if you potentially have an air leak at the carb gasket or elsewhere? If so it could cause the machine to run lean

We were still able to maneuver the Choke switch on and off. It broke off with a little bit hanging out

@@nooelawncare I saw that. I was talking about the end of the video with the test start. It ran fine with the choke on. I have never seen an Echo do that. Mine all stumble and die with the choke on. Was there a gasket behind the new filter baseplate you installed?
