Hi everyone! I'm an American from the Northeast (New England). I want to create a watering hole for people who want to discuss, learn and teach about history through RUclips videos which you guys recommend to me through the comment section or over on Discord. Let's be respectful but, just as importantly, not be afraid to question any and everything about historical records in order to give us the most accurate representation of the history of our species and of our planet!
Having a diverse perspective is crucial to what I want to achieve here so please don't hold back! I want to learn about all I can! Keep recommending and PLEAESE join my Discord :) ( / discord )

The Wadden Sea is a Unesco World Heritage site, that stretches from the Netherlands, along Germany, to Denmark.

Water temperature in the Baltic sea: I live on the island of Gotland (Sweden) and we have normally 18-19 degrees Celsius in August. Not hot but fairly warm and sweaty for a seal. And warm enough for the thousands of tourists that show up. :)

McJibbin, man, I love you to bits. Possibly one of my favorite ever US reactors on RUclips. But damn! "Germany has Seals?!" OOps, that was an Americanism I will almost forgive you for. Seals are effing everywhere, and for a moment it was almost like "What? - Romania has TV?!" Nah, forgiven, love you too much for that

I feel the most awesome animal we have here is the Eurasian Lynx.
Beautiful and actually pretty large predator (think mountain lion in bigger)... also: it's a cat somewhere right between a pretty large felidae and a medium-small panthera... And I'm a crazy cat bloke to beginn with😹.
    Best regards

Elk bulls usually call in August and September, so seeing one in a snowy landscape calling out for any females is pretty uncommon Connor.

Odd how it's sometimes 'assumed' an animal species is specific to a certain area, country, island or continent...?!
I once saw a video on _Christmas Markets_ in (I think?) France or it might have been in Germany, (sorry, I forget), where 'model reindeer' were seen amongst the many lovely, often lit up and brightly coloured Christmas decorations
...and the comment by the (American young woman, in her early twenties, from Texas) 'Reactor' was apparently extremely surprised, or "shocked" to see the full-sized _reindeer models_ were based on how they really looked in the wild ...as she didn't believe "reindeer" were _actually real animals_!! Paraphrasing her response as it was over a year since I watched it...
    "No... They're not real...are they...?!
I thought they were made up... I think they're made up... Reindeer aren't _real_ animals, not like moose...?!"
    Um...?! 😮🤔🇺🇲🤔😏

Then it's a "Problem Bear" because it behaves like... a bear...
Also common, especially in the south, is to go panicky when someone sees a wolf... insta-kill...tufftätata...
