      a) I've read about no key member provision in the ND arrangements.
      b) ND pushed for the CAL+2 expansion and must have provided some assurances of not leaving.
Yep, ND has made a bet and will keep the deals,

Step back, what have we heard this week. KU, UNC, Clemson and one of the Va schools are talking to SEC. If they are SEC bound. After FSU, BIG will take Stanford to sweeten a deal for ND or Miami. And the B12 will get the rest.

North Carolina is very valuable to both the BIG 10 and the SEC! I can see North Carolina and North Carolina State split coming up very soon. I believe that North Carolina State will be in the BIG 12 and if North Carolina State thinks that is not good enough, the Group of Five Conferences will love to have them.

North Carolina does have very prestigious graduates who have significantly higher earnings than most colleges. That is attractive for advertisers. Remember the Big 10 isn’t looking for good football programs they are looking for very popular programs that have very affluent fans. North Carolina fits that definition. They are also AAU unlike FSU and Clemson.

UNC as a brand brings so much to the table, have top 25 teams in consistently in all of the sports that turn a profit, are highly respected academically (which the B10 cares about), and even if none of those things matter or mean anything to you, what should make sense is that it’s the flagship university of a state that the B10 and SEC would both love to expand into..

Neither the SEC nor the Big 10 are tripping over each other to add UNC let alone any ACC team. No ACC team has won a playoff game since 2020 this decade. The ACC has to remember that the other 3 Power 4 conferences don't have to invite them.

    • @tarheel7406

In context, the BIG12 is no longer really a "power". Certainly not a peer P4. No ACC school wants to join the BIG12.
Different reporters have consistently said that UNC is the top expansion target in the ACC (ignoring ND) since Day 1. Why won't so many accept this reality?
Honestly, you post a lot of nonsense.

Why do you idiots Keep talking playoffs records, winning records how many titles they have? This has nothing to do with that, it is about eyeballs. Are people watching your brand? I’m sorry to burst your bubble or kill your hate but FSU is a hot brand, even in the lonely ACC. they rank higher than the majority of SEC schools when it comes to ratings, even during their losing season years. Maybe the majority of people who watch FSU want to see them lose but the point is they watch. Now I don’t understand why people keep pushing North Carolina because nobody’s watching them but everybody’s rolling with this narrative.
