I came to your video because I've been researching this bike for the last couple days before buying. I'm loving just about everything about it.
Thank you for saying the name and posting the plaque on the bench. My mother recently passed away very suddenly and in the months following her death I paid for a brass plaque on a bench to be placed in an area she liked. I hope people take the time to read her name and maybe the few words about her, maybe making them curious about her life. She was not only the best Mom in the world in my mind, but she actually was an amazing mother and woman. I could never have asked for a better mother and would never have traded her for anything or anyone in the world. We are here for nothing if we are remembered for nothing or to not be remembered at all.
    Sorry for the sidetrack

Cool ending Chris, I personally am afraid of heights. Maybe it has to do with my weight, and the fear that whatever is built won’t hold me. I remember the crane you climbed. What amazing stories you will be able to tell future generations.

A nice bike. All k those cafe style bikes have the problem with the seat being too low. I would look to install a thicker seat and also insert bushens to raise it. Even 5 inches more would be great

I love these reviews and the tours of where you live. If I may suggest a bicycle shock pump for what appears to be an air shock for the rear suspension, they are different than a conventional bicycle pump which will allow too much air to escape when detaching the chuck from the Schrader valve after adjusting the compliance of the rear end sag and travel based on rider weight. I am sure you and some viewers may have spotted this but just an FYI for those less familiar with air shocks. Cheers!

theres enough stud length on the seat studs to add a 1 Inch spacer under the seat. there by raising it by 1 inch. it would make a great difference when riding. thx for vid. enjoy them.

Chris, I really enjoy these review videos you do on the electric bikes. My wife and I are thinking about buying some to take camping with us. I know this would probably be a LOT of work for you, but have you ever thought about producing a video comparing your top five or ten bikes you have reviewed and compare things like cost, range, ease of use (like this one being hard for a tall person to pedal manually), etc....? I'd really be interested in seeing a video like that. I happen to be pretty short (5'6") and used to race dirt bikes so this Engwe looked pretty interesting to me. Because of being used to riding dirt bikes, I think I would prefer a mountain bike style of electric bike with a full suspension (front and rear). I trust your judgment on things having been addicted to both of your channels for awhile now and I can appreciate how you work through problems and fix stuff. Let me know if you think you would ever produce a video like this or something like it to help me make the right choice when we go to buy our electric bikes (maybe not this summer but next year). Thanks, Joe

Chris, love your bike travel rides on the canal paths on both sides of the Delaware river. Your absolutely right that the new bike/walking access across the Scudders Fall bridge is probably the best on the Delaware river. They worked on the Jersey side paths over the Winter and they are the best for bike riding. The Pennsylvania side paths are more scenic but they aren’t as bike friendly along a lot of spots because they can’t get heavy equipment on the paths to do maintenance on them. They need a lot of money for repairs which the state of Pa doesn’t seem to provide.

I’m 5’9” with a 30” inseam and I sit flat footed on the ground. As for pedaling it is a little awkward . The manual control settings could be a little more clear…..in short you’ll have to play with it for awhile. This guy points out several things the manual doesn’t cover, front wheel axel needs to be removed and the one they strap to frame is used. Wiring for the second battery is explained here much better here than the manual. Brakes are sufficient when new. Lights are excellent.
Get the duel battery option, you’ll won’t be disappointed…….have fun!

The bike looks like a nice piece of equipment! When my son is 15 in a few years It'd be fun to ride with him. One last comment - you must have a nice drone that can fly steady in that wind!

Just a personal thing when I was looking for a bike I didn't want a seat style like that. I'm short but I'd just rather have a normal bike seat that I can easily change to what I am most comfortable with. I came down to two bikes and in all honesty the other bike had some features that were better but nothing outrageously better but I went with the one I liked the seat and suspension better.

Hey there, I just watched your "ebike review" video and I must say, I'm impressed with the detail and insights you provided. As an avid ebike user, I'm always on the lookout for innovative products, and I recently stumbled upon a new crowdfunding project called freebeat Morph 2-in-1 e-Bike. It's intriguing because it offers dual modes for outdoor and indoor use, with the ability to recharge indoors. The brushless 750W motor and 80Nm torque seem quite powerful, and the 80mm front suspension and puncture-resistant fat tires make it perfect for any terrain. The Smart Saddle Detection+ and CO2-free mileage features are definitely worth exploring too. Keep up the great work, and thanks for sharing this exciting project!

These style of e-bikes aren't really made to be pedaled. From Australian, e-bikes have to be pedal assisted to be legal, seems odd to ride a bike without pedaling.

Front fender looks too short towards the top / front end, looks like it will spray straight up. Also, are they too narrow ? o_O
There might be an advantage to using both batteries at once to avoid higher current draw on each cell. Aswell as keeping the cells out of their lowest voltage range which is rougher on the battery compared to using it in its mid / high voltage range.
Respect to showing the badge on Davids bench
Some things to consistently list in these Ebike reviews : Peak power vs continuous power ( saw this in last video ), Motor type ( internal gears vs direct drive ), Type and brand of cell ( i.e 18650 vs 21700 ), Max current rating for motor controller, Somehow give quality of tire and gauge its ability to operate durably at lower PSI. You already give great info about controls ( such as the delay in letting off pedal assist ). In other videos you zoomed right in on more of the welds. To always say where its made. If i missed any of these then im sorry. Thankyou for these

@@antscape call them, they are quite helpful. They call you back quickly and try to help you. There is a seat attachment that raises you,not the seat. I did it yesterday. I'm 5,8 and still am a bit uncomfortable, legs cramp on long rides if I use the pedals, straight power I'm comfort, but to pedal I can't get far without a hamstring cramping lol. They are sending me a extra seat that attaches to the first and gives another 3 inches of height. Hope this helps.

@@antscape I can confirm this. I’m also 5’9 and it’s tall to climb on for sure. BUT if you’re 6’+ pedaling could be uncomfortable. So it’s definitely unique in size being best fit for 5’8-6’0

We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!
