      Was gonna say the same, was that trace mode? Most other reviews show the drone quickly going to the rear when you try to film from the front

    • @Itzik_Arazi
      @Itzik_Arazi  Год назад +1

      @@badfinancialdecisions Yes this is using trace mode , I think as long as you go straight and in a speed that the drone can handle it will stay in front of you .

    from DJIMP3Pro group - I feel like your buddy haha... a little antsy - so kick it up, i heard that it actually tracks better in higher speeds.. especially side track (to a limit of course, but push it!)

      Hi Ernie
      For my first try I wanted to fly it safe with its sensors in normal mode , in the future when we will be in high speed I will try the sport mode 🙂

    This is a great video, I’ve been looking into purchasing a drone and wasn’t sure whether to go with the air2 or mini3pro. I think this is totally doable. Great job! Feel bad for your buddy on the T7 😂😂.

      Skip the Air2-it doesn't have Remote-ID capability. The Air 2S and Mini3 Pro do have it.

    one of the problems is when you stop and its just keep going and loos you, happened to me more then once, so if I stop I must do it very gradually.
    it is getting better but still not in the same level as the SKYDIO 2

    • @Itzik_Arazi
      @Itzik_Arazi  Год назад +1

      I think at the moment Skydio 2 plus is way better than this with active tracking BUT because its not available here we need to use what we have ...
      Thanks for the stopping tip ,will check that out .

    Looking on the bike stand from Amazon - I would not trust it for terrain which is more enduro then the one in the video- I set something else (DYI) I am removing the sticks and use straps to the main bar - it worked ok for 2 times I used it while riding among rocks and stones.
    I think the remote controller is too heavy for the ball stand during heavy shakes of the motorcycle

      @Itzik_Arazi  Год назад

      Hi Moshe
      I just replaced the small ball that came with this stand with a 1 inch ball ( amzn.to/3UIMgc9 ) , wanted something more bulky .
      Will test it on harder terrain next ride .

    Nice cool video.. amazing also that the mini 3 follows you and does not switch to your colleague on the other bike!
    I had my mini 3 pro following me on my Bike on a road through a wood where it had to fly in between tree branches hanging over the road + the road descending.. it performed amazingly well... of course the speed was about 25km/h because it had to find its way around the tree branches very often.
    Question though: when you use the tracing... what do you set your home point to ? i.e. when it would lose signal...
    I am not sure if the mini 3 pro works as the spark, where you could set the home point to follow the controller's position dynamically...
    with both the mini 3 pro and the spark it sets the home point to the take off gps location (default), but you can also set/update the home point to the controller, however will it follow the controller's gps position dynamically if you have moved or does it store the controller's gps location statically at the moment you updated the home point ?

    • @Itzik_Arazi
      @Itzik_Arazi  Год назад

      Hi TheJeepees .
      When I use the drone I am connecting the controller to my phone hotspot, it really helps to see where the drone is on the map.
      Regarding the home point it's not updating dynamically , it's set once the drone is in the air and I manually update it every time .
      Because the controller is on the handle bar I always see if the drone lost me and as long it don't loose connection to the controller it's just stay in the air and not going to the home point

    • @TheJeepees
      @TheJeepees Год назад

      @@Itzik_Arazi ok thanks. I also have the controller mounted on the handlebar, but it's a pity indeed that the homepoint isn't dynamically updated to the actual controller position.. the spark drone did it well I remember

    can only track you for 30kph..

    • @Itzik_Arazi
      @Itzik_Arazi  10 месяцев назад

      Hi
      If you are in normal mode you can get to 40kph and still get the obstacle avoidance but if you want to go faster you can use sport mode but drone disables the obstacle avoidance...
