Rep is using it as a no interest loan they suck ass. Questionable ethics. To give a pre order date and then say delay it another 2 months all very quietly and no mention of it in sm. After get my dumbells hope they go bankrupt
Honestly, the biggest disappointment with the delay for the pre-order equipment is associated with how they delivered the infomation. Most people received a call or an email the DAY OF our scheduled shipments. I think if they gave a heads up a week or two in advance that everything was gonna be delayed, you wouldn’t see nearly as many people pissed off.
I'm waiting on my pre-order Freak Athlete leg curl/extension attachment. A couple weeks before it was due to ship, they sent a notice of delay, reasoning behind that, when they're now expected, plus a bonus item they also developed and are they're throwing in for the hassle. Weekly status updates ever since.
I don't get ppl buying rep when you look at the fact the price difference isn't much from rogue. Much prefer rogue on everything and I'll support American workers at the same time
@@Pler1978classic case of a company turning into the industry they are trying to change. Agreed for me, for most of my gear I’ll pay the premium for the rogue version. Except for when Rep makes the actual higher quality item like their adjustable kettle and dumbbells.
Update! I just logged into the Rep site and my loyalty points just showed up! My points are there and I just used 2000 to grab a set of leg rollers… if it’s going away, use it or lose it…
I love the idea of pre-orders. I think your statement that expecting it on time is also accurate to a point. Between strikes, prices of goods, shipping delays, etc., it is nice when a company delivers on time
I absolutely don't mind pre-order. But I would never pre order something that I needed in my training and didn't already have at my home gym (bar, dumbbells, plates, etc)
Rep and Titan were good alternatives to rogue at one point but now the price difference is close enough that I just buy rogue and since I live in the Chicagoland area I get everything delivered from rogue next day ups which I prefer over FedEx
Considering how the economy is in 2024, I don't know how most businesses are even able to stay afloat. Rep makes great equipment, as well as Titan fitness, Crandall fitness etc. At the end of the day their prices are still pretty damn good without discounts so I'll continue to support them
I agree the price to longevity of waht your buying isn't paralleled. You buy a barbell today and in 30 years it's still a great barbell if you 3 in 1 oil it.

A loyalty program is supposed to retain existing customers with future purchases. This change is to entice people to buy a full gym from them. IMO looks like they are going after schools or small private gyms. I just want honesty when you get rid of programs..."either we change this program or we raise prices, your choice consumers"
I hundred percent agree they are going after small gyms or schools for those massive medium to big build outs and sales. Did the loyalty program ever make you choose them over Rogue?

Yeah you only see them at check out now. Didn't know about the $100 cap per order part though. Was that written somewhere? Changes what I would have ordered next to get rid of them.
Another thing not mentioned about REP changing their Loyalty Program is its even worse for those that do a pick-up orders from their showrooms in PA or CO. Before you'd get the loyalty points and the pick-up discount for pick-up orders. However, with their new tier discount for large purchases, you cannot combine it with the showroom pick-up discount.
I knew of and used the points all the time. Buy big purchase then get discounted smaller purchase. Rinse and repeat. Cancelling this program and their crappy email will definitely keep me from making some of my future purchases with them.
I used the loyalty points as intended. For example I used it on the 125lbs pepins, and other several hundred dollar purchases. But I can understand why they would change it. But wouldn’t an easier way have just been hey, the price point to use this many points has to be this dollar amount? I sold my power blocks and zero gap because I’m thinking of buying the black wing or prime fitness new bench next month and was leaning towards the black wing because i get a pick up discount plus my loyalty points. I can’t speak for everyone but for me that’s definitely now a factor on who I order from. I was also gonna get there double black diamond stainless steel bar but now I’m like if the price is dang near the same I can shop around. They also definitely should’ve just said that upfront, I love rep and when your upfront with what’s going on most people get it
yeah letting the HR department create these type of emails is a red flag. I too got the 125 pepins but I don't know if I'll even be able to lift them (don't tell my wife)
Another great video, appreciate what you do for the community. I for one liked the royalty program and used my points (just in time) to buy another bar. The program did only slightly affect my decision to stick w Rep vs another brand. A tee shirt for $1000 is kinda poor form, I would think that they should incentivize and say for example, if you buy one item that is $1000, the next item you buy over a certain price results in a 10% discount. If next item is over another price it is 15%, but next item needs to be equal or less but not higher value. I think that would make people buy more stuff.
The points system was good to me, I got flat j-cups and a leg roller attachment for free and a 66% discount on their spotter arms. My last use of points (accumulated from doing reviews) was to get their band pegs for free. Eh, not a huge letdown, I still have been treated very well by REP.
We all have with respect to them raising the bar. Even future adjustable db releases that look to copy their #repins the home gym community will owe a small piece of thanks to rep

I might have been more bothered if I lost points I collected. I spent what I had…but I still like their products and customer service. I live close enough where my discounts will be from local pick up.
Yeah, it's a hard pill to swallow. I know in the past you couldn't redeem more than $100 worth of points at any one time but with the free shipping you could work the system to put in seperate orders. What rack are you buying?
Im beyond pissed it took Rogue so long for a decent lat pulldown. Wouldve preferred rogue but went all in on Rep not due to price, but the center lat pulldown.
I ordered an AB-4100 from REP yesterday. (First REP purchase.) I don't miss the loyalty program, because I never experienced it. But, i did see that $1000 t-shirt. Thought it was silly. BUT, i bought from them BECAUSE they are known for their quality benches. Honestly, that is plenty enough for me. Most loyalty programs are a gimmick anyways, so IMO this is NO big deal. Look forward to getting my new bench! And if I am satisfied, will buy from REP again.
Yeah when someone runs amis, we need to call it like we see it (so long as it's not going overboard) I think people were right to be mad at rep for canceling but believe they probably pretended to be more but hurt than they actually were.
If rogue or someone else had the pepins id definitely gone their way. Hate the rep branding. Very generic and second rate imo and far behind rogue in every. They aren't even honest about their 3x3 posts which aren't 3x3...
Last year I bought a 6 post rack, ab5200, land mine, wall mounted 3 bar rack, set of 45s and a rackable curl bar all from rep. I also bought a set of 245 pounds of weights from Giant And a bar from Rogue. This year I planned on buying an Ares 2.0 or Athena. I bought into Rep because of their innovation and new products coming out. If they were tired of losing money on sub 100 dollar items they should have made it 100 dollars off orders over a certain amount 500 or even 1000.
I used their points to get smaller stuff for next to nothing but I also used points to basically just take care of taxes on more expensive purchases too... Pepins coming in on Wednesday!

I never expect pre-orders to come on time. But I do them to lock in a price and so I don’t have to wait for a re-stock when it sells out. I also prefer a polished product over rushed delivery, but it would be nice if companies were less ambitious with their timelines.
Yeah, I think they had manufacturing issues and wanted to send out the best product but I too would prefer them to tell us a far off date and then come in early. Were you surprised they raise the price after the initial pre order?
I only learned about them a few weeks ago and ordered them yesterday. I’m not surprised people committing sooner paid less - but I assessed current value and people committing earlier can pay whatever. If it gets much more though I’d start to question their integrity without seeing some numbers.
Last year I went all out finally committing to upgrade my home gym. I spent $5619 for a rack, Athena, lat row, upgraded all three stacks, dip attachments and a leg roller. That basically got me $300 in reward points which I spent on pro series attachments, a landmind attachment, and safety straps. The new loyalty program would have served me better and maybe even motivated me to spent some more money, but there’s no way I’m going to spend that much again with REP in one shot. So it’s basically nothing to me now and that sucks, but I wish they had the new one when I bought last year.
I have preordered several things from REP and the weight times were reasonable IMO until the REP X Peppin’s. I preordered the BlackWing, DoubleBlack Diamond Bar, Colorado Bar, and the REP x Peppins. I have been weighting for the adjustable dumbbells for 5 months now. I was supposed to have them 20 Aug and now the new date is 25 Oct. I never considered the fact they have my money for free for the last 5 months. thats kind of shitty. At one point I had 8K loyalty points and I used all but a few hundred before the program changed. I really love REP but this does seem like a low blow.
Yeah I love rep, obviously, but I think they could have kept the loyalty program but maybe made a minimum purchase price to help ofset shipping costs. What weight peppins you get?
I hate rep Fitness but ordered the rep pepins. They were clearly using it as a kickstarter. 7 month wait if... If they deliver on their new "deadline'. I've spent 55k on home gym and never considered any rep crap... Not much better prices but not as nice and foreign made with poor customer service and lame branding.

Glad you made this video to highlight REP’s response to the community’s backlash. I was feeling a little hurt after their announcement but now feel better. We should be focusing on the fact that REP has quality made products backed by awesome customer service. Not some loyalty program that everyone was “gaming” anyway. They’ve set the bar higher for the entire industry with innovative products (they got Rogue to wake tf up). We should show a bit more loyalty to a company’s that had our back.
They should of had Ryan write the initial email in the first place or made a social media post speaking to it with honestly. I agree though that they have been setting the bar higher for the entire industry and it's helped us consumers more than we probably realize. So since home gyms are never done, what you buying next?

My delayed Pepins shipped yesterday, two weeks earlier than the October 25th date they gave me. I am sure they are giving out worst case dates, so it doesn’t surprise me. I used my points to buy a straight cable bar that I wanted. $17 for a $60 bar. The bulk of my points went into a gift card plus 25% for my Ares 2.0 delay. I will use the gift card for the Repin stand when announced.
As someone that pre-ordered the Reppins, I have no problem with the pre-order delay. I'd rather have a good product over an inferior product like the MG-4. A lot of companies are are doing this, not just fitness companies. Non polished Video games are being released with updates expected to fix them. Teslas are released with 1000 bugs that people just expect an update to fix. That's BS. Take the time for a quality product.
@@NoFate247 It is for me. I have back problems and tweak it every few months with deadlift, so gives me a way to train during those time. Use it for reverse hypers with body weight, cuff weights, or bands. Family members who can't or won't deadlift makes a good option for them too.
It’s the language they use but meh. The preorder puts a bad taste in your mouth but it is what it is. I am still going to get them cause the alternatives are not that great. As long as rep put out the product that people want the preorder / loyalty program does not matter.
First they got rid of the Military/First Responder discount then the rewards program. I've used each of those programs when I would do a big purchase of items. Its what kept me coming back instead of going to Rogue. Yes, I own a Rogue RM4 and a few Rogue items but my garage gym is now about 60% Rep and climbing due which I would contribute to their rewards program and price point at times. The rewards system(s) when they were available, allowed me to save and smartly become a loyal customer. Now, not so much.
I wish they didn't get rid of the military discounts. I mean our military takes it on the chin in so many ways, giving them a 5-10% savings I feel is nothing compared to the good publicity you get from it.
Maybe they should give points for late deliveries on pre-orders based on the current interest rate that they don't have to pay their bank on borrowed money to manage their cash flow.

The loyalty points could not be combined with other discounts, such as 10% November (extended Black Friday) coupon codes. Therefore, I bought the big ticket items with 10% discount and used the points on small things later on.
@@NoFate247 Weight horn set (originally out of stock when purchasing the rack), second set of J-cups, cable attachments. Never enough points to make them free, but I planned to buy them anyway. The points never motivated me to choose Rep.
Its funny that I pretty much quit buying from Titan when they stopped their loyalty program. I am not buying much these days as I have everything I need now. Although I did price out a Ares 2.0 and storage with the Army green to match all my stuff and it was 5500$ 😮 but we will see what black friday offers at this point.

I think the anxiety over the loyalty points is overblown. They called and converted by points to vouchers worth $380 (or a refund of $330 cash). I took the payment vouchers as I fully intend to buy more Rep gear as they have a lot of really cool stuff in their pipeline.
I ordered the Rep Ares 2.0 Limited Edition on the day it came out in May. Still waiting ... it's all good, though. They're managing expectations; they called me and said it was probably going to be delivered in January and gave me a $100 gift certificate for the wait. It has given me a chance to sell my old rack and completely replace my gym flooring. I got rid of the Rep Fitness 3/4" gym mats (never buy those!!!) and bought some Premium Extreme 3/4" mats from Rubber Flooring Inc. I'm glad I got all the loyalty points from Rep for my purchase of the Rep Ares 2.0. There was actually a review by someone on YT that told me to buy the Rep Ares 2.0 and then use the loyalty points to buy extra little add-ons like safeties instead of buying at checkout with the Ares (can't remember who it was, maybe it was you!). Maybe that's why they got rid of the points. But yeah, I usually try to make purchases around $100 for my loyalty points because it was limited to $100 max points per purchase.
@@NoFate247 You're looking at flooring from Rubber Flooring Inc? 3/4" Premium Extreme Mats? I could do a review on RUclips if you want. I've done a few reviews on the Rep Fitness mats but I unlisted the videos bc i felt like I was too critical. (I could re-list if you're interested). Main thing I would recommend from Rubber Flooring Inc is to make sure to inspect the delivery very thoroughly and reject if there's damage. Saia delivered them and the corners were sticking off the pallet and I didn't notice it at the delivery but the corners were all damaged. Not a great feeling after spending over $1000.
@@NoFate247 I just sold my Rep Fitness mats yesterday. I made a couple videos on them; I set the videos to unlisted but just made them public if you want to check them out. I'll probably change the videos back to unlisted eventually. Main reason I bough the Rep Fitness mats were because they advertised that they didn't smell. That was true, but the granularity of the mats was such that it was very difficult to clean them and it wasn't ideal for a garage where I plan to park and the bumper of my vehicle hangs over far enough that dirt and mud will drip down onto them. The new Premium Extreme mats from Rubber Flooring Inc. (or Flooring Inc) are still on a pallent in my garage. They seem okay, but haven't really had a chance to gather my thoughts about them. Main thing I would recommend is to inspect them carefully when they're delivered. One of the corners was hanging off the pallet when they were delivered and I didn't inspect them close enough, and the corners were smashed/smooshed off. Not a great experience for a $1000+ purchase.
I have used my points in the past to get 50% off on a product (bumper plates). I am about to cash out my points on chalk, not because I am out of chalk, but because I am not wasting my points.
I wanted a pair of their 10lb rubber-coated iron plates for probably a year, but just really didn't want to pay 60 bucks for em. Had 10 bucks of loyalty points, but still didn't want to pay 50. Finally, the went on sale 10% off, and I got 'em for $44. Was kind of fun chasing the dragon. Meanwhile, I was looking to buy something big this coming November madness, take the points and then get some small "free" bonus for Christmas. Now, just looking to cash out.

Not gonna lie...I was initially considering the Pepins, but they increased the price with no notice before I pulled the trigger. I don't really need anything new and will keep my PBs for now.
I forgot about the loyalty program so the cancelation e-mail did get me to buy some sand bags from Rep. I also had a $100 gift certificate from them so I paid like 1/2 price out of pocket.
I ordered the Rep x Pepins a day late. Didn’t even see the email. I think they got it backwards. It felt better buying big items from Rep because you knew you could get loyalty points. Then get something smaller on Rep.
Yeah I think it helped them make more money in the long run but probably not as much as they had hoped. I'm assuming they are going after bigger fish and bigger sales than those of us that buy 1 item at a time

Outside pepins wouldn't buy rep if it was 20 percent off. Buy once cry once... Compared to many hobbies Home gyms are cheap... Outside the home gyms that are basically commercial facilities
@@Pler1978 i personally don't care about pepins. Everyone has their opinion on which brand is better. I personally will go with Rep over Rogue besides there weight plates. They look amazing. Most my gym is budget/used. I call it the "broke vet gym".

Pre order makes sense if people are realistic about it, but there’s always complainers. I pre ordered the Repiíns, but around the time of the delay a pair of 120 Iron Masters showed up on Marketplace for a song. To their credit, Rep was totally cool about the cancel and the representative didn’t pressure or give me any grief. I’m disappointed not to play with the Repíns, but ultimately wanted something that could go heavier and the savings was a bonus.
They should just give you a one-time purchase of a fixed percentage off as your points accrue so when you get I don't know say 100 points it's 1% off 200 points is 2% off and whatever and then eventually it will cap it 5% whatever their stupid ass cap allowances that way if people buy bands it's a waste and if people want to buy something that's middle cost and the $3,000 range then it's actually maybe 300 bucks and that's pretty good. Oh yay look I didn't have to pay sales tax basically

Rogue created a superior product in the fm line, built it in the US, and matched REP's pricing. Rogue, FTW. Outside of the reppin, I have zero interest in REP.
@@NoFate247 I'm currently using two bells plate loaded towers, but plan to upgrade to an all in one in the future. I'm not sure Rogue's pricing is so competitive compared to other options like the Dane as much as it is REP overcharging for an imported rack. It'll be interesting to see what Bells's pricing is when theirs comes out. Rogue's pricing is probably appropriate for a domestic all in one. Rep is just ripping people off for an imported version.

@@NoFate247 I’d like to see tailored discounts on their accessories and weights. Instead of loyalty points, they could just follow up with discounts on accessories that pair well with the customer’s previous purchases. For example, a bench or power rack purchase is followed-up with a discount on a barbell, weights, weight belt, etc.
Meh, call the wahhmbulance. Rep is 100% right that the loyalty program wasn't getting them anything. They are scaling scary fast and this type of stuff is typical of companies growing faster than they can support. I'll trade no points and some delays for the quality and innovation they are putting out any day. And, honestly, it's not like Rogue has been historically known as the bastion of customer service either.
patiently waiting on my ares 2.0. as far as the loyalty program i mean the ares 2.0 i had to keep under 5 grand as that is the max on my credit card so i only got 100 anyway i mean under the new rules i woudon't have gotten anything as i didn't reach the 5 grand limit i was oh so close but no cigar. look i am a bargain hunter i went all out with the ares 2.0 but i can't say i will buy only rep fitness attachments if i find it cheaper but still a reputable company like how titan has upped thier game and bells of steel. i will save more money that way then on what was the loyalty program.
Yes, I think the biggest savings is being a free agent when it comes to buying what you need from the best priced/quality options. what color ares you get?
I don't mind them as much but def. think the people who say "need" adjustable dumbbells always expect it to be delivered early and usually the opposite is the case.

If you're that close to Rogue can't blame you at all and we have to give credit where it's due for the American made products
Considering how the economy is in 2024, I don't know how most businesses are even able to stay afloat. Rep makes great equipment, as well as Titan fitness, Crandall fitness etc. At the end of the day their prices are still pretty damn good without discounts so I'll continue to support them

Another thing not mentioned about REP changing their Loyalty Program is its even worse for those that do a pick-up orders from their showrooms in PA or CO. Before you'd get the loyalty points and the pick-up discount for pick-up orders. However, with their new tier discount for large purchases, you cannot combine it with the showroom pick-up discount.

I knew of and used the points all the time. Buy big purchase then get discounted smaller purchase. Rinse and repeat. Cancelling this program and their crappy email will definitely keep me from making some of my future purchases with them.

I used the loyalty points as intended. For example I used it on the 125lbs pepins, and other several hundred dollar purchases. But I can understand why they would change it. But wouldn’t an easier way have just been hey, the price point to use this many points has to be this dollar amount? I sold my power blocks and zero gap because I’m thinking of buying the black wing or prime fitness new bench next month and was leaning towards the black wing because i get a pick up discount plus my loyalty points. I can’t speak for everyone but for me that’s definitely now a factor on who I order from. I was also gonna get there double black diamond stainless steel bar but now I’m like if the price is dang near the same I can shop around. They also definitely should’ve just said that upfront, I love rep and when your upfront with what’s going on most people get it

Another great video, appreciate what you do for the community. I for one liked the royalty program and used my points (just in time) to buy another bar. The program did only slightly affect my decision to stick w Rep vs another brand. A tee shirt for $1000 is kinda poor form, I would think that they should incentivize and say for example, if you buy one item that is $1000, the next item you buy over a certain price results in a 10% discount. If next item is over another price it is 15%, but next item needs to be equal or less but not higher value. I think that would make people buy more stuff.

The points system was good to me, I got flat j-cups and a leg roller attachment for free and a 66% discount on their spotter arms. My last use of points (accumulated from doing reviews) was to get their band pegs for free. Eh, not a huge letdown, I still have been treated very well by REP.
We all have with respect to them raising the bar. Even future adjustable db releases that look to copy their #repins the home gym community will owe a small piece of thanks to rep

I ordered an AB-4100 from REP yesterday. (First REP purchase.) I don't miss the loyalty program, because I never experienced it. But, i did see that $1000 t-shirt. Thought it was silly. BUT, i bought from them BECAUSE they are known for their quality benches. Honestly, that is plenty enough for me. Most loyalty programs are a gimmick anyways, so IMO this is NO big deal. Look forward to getting my new bench! And if I am satisfied, will buy from REP again.

Last year I bought a 6 post rack, ab5200, land mine, wall mounted 3 bar rack, set of 45s and a rackable curl bar all from rep.
I also bought a set of 245 pounds of weights from Giant And a bar from Rogue.
This year I planned on buying an Ares 2.0 or Athena.
I bought into Rep because of their innovation and new products coming out. If they were tired of losing money on sub 100 dollar items they should have made it 100 dollars off orders over a certain amount 500 or even 1000.

I never expect pre-orders to come on time. But I do them to lock in a price and so I don’t have to wait for a re-stock when it sells out. I also prefer a polished product over rushed delivery, but it would be nice if companies were less ambitious with their timelines.
Yeah, I think they had manufacturing issues and wanted to send out the best product but I too would prefer them to tell us a far off date and then come in early. Were you surprised they raise the price after the initial pre order?
I only learned about them a few weeks ago and ordered them yesterday. I’m not surprised people committing sooner paid less - but I assessed current value and people committing earlier can pay whatever. If it gets much more though I’d start to question their integrity without seeing some numbers.
Last year I went all out finally committing to upgrade my home gym. I spent $5619 for a rack, Athena, lat row, upgraded all three stacks, dip attachments and a leg roller. That basically got me $300 in reward points which I spent on pro series attachments, a landmind attachment, and safety straps.
The new loyalty program would have served me better and maybe even motivated me to spent some more money, but there’s no way I’m going to spend that much again with REP in one shot. So it’s basically nothing to me now and that sucks, but I wish they had the new one when I bought last year.
Yeah it almost stinks of those New Customer Sign up deals that hose the older long time customers.
$800 for 120 pair and stand. Another $160 for the heavy handles new, and I have indestructible 135s for $960 all in.

I have preordered several things from REP and the weight times were reasonable IMO until the REP X Peppin’s. I preordered the BlackWing, DoubleBlack Diamond Bar, Colorado Bar, and the REP x Peppins. I have been weighting for the adjustable dumbbells for 5 months now. I was supposed to have them 20 Aug and now the new date is 25 Oct. I never considered the fact they have my money for free for the last 5 months. thats kind of shitty. At one point I had 8K loyalty points and I used all but a few hundred before the program changed. I really love REP but this does seem like a low blow.

My delayed Pepins shipped yesterday, two weeks earlier than the October 25th date they gave me. I am sure they are giving out worst case dates, so it doesn’t surprise me.
I used my points to buy a straight cable bar that I wanted. $17 for a $60 bar. The bulk of my points went into a gift card plus 25% for my Ares 2.0 delay. I will use the gift card for the Repin stand when announced.

As someone that pre-ordered the Reppins, I have no problem with the pre-order delay. I'd rather have a good product over an inferior product like the MG-4. A lot of companies are are doing this, not just fitness companies. Non polished Video games are being released with updates expected to fix them. Teslas are released with 1000 bugs that people just expect an update to fix. That's BS. Take the time for a quality product.

@@NoFate247 It is for me. I have back problems and tweak it every few months with deadlift, so gives me a way to train during those time. Use it for reverse hypers with body weight, cuff weights, or bands. Family members who can't or won't deadlift makes a good option for them too.
It’s the language they use but meh. The preorder puts a bad taste in your mouth but it is what it is. I am still going to get them cause the alternatives are not that great. As long as rep put out the product that people want the preorder / loyalty program does not matter.

First they got rid of the Military/First Responder discount then the rewards program. I've used each of those programs when I would do a big purchase of items. Its what kept me coming back instead of going to Rogue. Yes, I own a Rogue RM4 and a few Rogue items but my garage gym is now about 60% Rep and climbing due which I would contribute to their rewards program and price point at times. The rewards system(s) when they were available, allowed me to save and smartly become a loyal customer. Now, not so much.
I wish they didn't get rid of the military discounts. I mean our military takes it on the chin in so many ways, giving them a 5-10% savings I feel is nothing compared to the good publicity you get from it.
Maybe they should give points for late deliveries on pre-orders based on the current interest rate that they don't have to pay their bank on borrowed money to manage their cash flow.
I did hear tale of people who paid the higher repin pricing getting $100 gift cards for their troubles/delays. (haven't confirmed that)

The loyalty points could not be combined with other discounts, such as 10% November (extended Black Friday) coupon codes. Therefore, I bought the big ticket items with 10% discount and used the points on small things later on.

Its funny that I pretty much quit buying from Titan when they stopped their loyalty program. I am not buying much these days as I have everything I need now. Although I did price out a Ares 2.0 and storage with the Army green to match all my stuff and it was 5500$ 😮 but we will see what black friday offers at this point.

I think the anxiety over the loyalty points is overblown. They called and converted by points to vouchers worth $380 (or a refund of $330 cash). I took the payment vouchers as I fully intend to buy more Rep gear as they have a lot of really cool stuff in their pipeline.

I ordered the Rep Ares 2.0 Limited Edition on the day it came out in May. Still waiting ... it's all good, though. They're managing expectations; they called me and said it was probably going to be delivered in January and gave me a $100 gift certificate for the wait. It has given me a chance to sell my old rack and completely replace my gym flooring. I got rid of the Rep Fitness 3/4" gym mats (never buy those!!!) and bought some Premium Extreme 3/4" mats from Rubber Flooring Inc. I'm glad I got all the loyalty points from Rep for my purchase of the Rep Ares 2.0. There was actually a review by someone on YT that told me to buy the Rep Ares 2.0 and then use the loyalty points to buy extra little add-ons like safeties instead of buying at checkout with the Ares (can't remember who it was, maybe it was you!). Maybe that's why they got rid of the points. But yeah, I usually try to make purchases around $100 for my loyalty points because it was limited to $100 max points per purchase.

@@NoFate247 You're looking at flooring from Rubber Flooring Inc? 3/4" Premium Extreme Mats? I could do a review on RUclips if you want. I've done a few reviews on the Rep Fitness mats but I unlisted the videos bc i felt like I was too critical. (I could re-list if you're interested). Main thing I would recommend from Rubber Flooring Inc is to make sure to inspect the delivery very thoroughly and reject if there's damage. Saia delivered them and the corners were sticking off the pallet and I didn't notice it at the delivery but the corners were all damaged. Not a great feeling after spending over $1000.
@@NoFate247 I just sold my Rep Fitness mats yesterday. I made a couple videos on them; I set the videos to unlisted but just made them public if you want to check them out. I'll probably change the videos back to unlisted eventually. Main reason I bough the Rep Fitness mats were because they advertised that they didn't smell. That was true, but the granularity of the mats was such that it was very difficult to clean them and it wasn't ideal for a garage where I plan to park and the bumper of my vehicle hangs over far enough that dirt and mud will drip down onto them.
The new Premium Extreme mats from Rubber Flooring Inc. (or Flooring Inc) are still on a pallent in my garage. They seem okay, but haven't really had a chance to gather my thoughts about them. Main thing I would recommend is to inspect them carefully when they're delivered. One of the corners was hanging off the pallet when they were delivered and I didn't inspect them close enough, and the corners were smashed/smooshed off. Not a great experience for a $1000+ purchase.
I have used my points in the past to get 50% off on a product (bumper plates). I am about to cash out my points on chalk, not because I am out of chalk, but because I am not wasting my points.

I wanted a pair of their 10lb rubber-coated iron plates for probably a year, but just really didn't want to pay 60 bucks for em. Had 10 bucks of loyalty points, but still didn't want to pay 50. Finally, the went on sale 10% off, and I got 'em for $44. Was kind of fun chasing the dragon.
Meanwhile, I was looking to buy something big this coming November madness, take the points and then get some small "free" bonus for Christmas. Now, just looking to cash out.

Pre order makes sense if people are realistic about it, but there’s always complainers. I pre ordered the Repiíns, but around the time of the delay a pair of 120 Iron Masters showed up on Marketplace for a song. To their credit, Rep was totally cool about the cancel and the representative didn’t pressure or give me any grief. I’m disappointed not to play with the Repíns, but ultimately wanted something that could go heavier and the savings was a bonus.

You're giving rep credit for refunding an order that you didnt receive? Pretty have to unless they just want charge backs...
They should just give you a one-time purchase of a fixed percentage off as your points accrue so when you get I don't know say 100 points it's 1% off 200 points is 2% off and whatever and then eventually it will cap it 5% whatever their stupid ass cap allowances that way if people buy bands it's a waste and if people want to buy something that's middle cost and the $3,000 range then it's actually maybe 300 bucks and that's pretty good. Oh yay look I didn't have to pay sales tax basically

Rogue, FTW. Outside of the reppin, I have zero interest in REP.
The pricing for rogue is so competitive it is hard to not go that route if you don't already have a rack
@@NoFate247 I'm currently using two bells plate loaded towers, but plan to upgrade to an all in one in the future. I'm not sure Rogue's pricing is so competitive compared to other options like the Dane as much as it is REP overcharging for an imported rack. It'll be interesting to see what Bells's pricing is when theirs comes out.
Rogue's pricing is probably appropriate for a domestic all in one. Rep is just ripping people off for an imported version.
I was disappointed but now that I I see they allow 10% off 10,000. That is way better

Prices aren't much better than rogue for products that are worse... And made overseas...people are so damn cheap. Everything about them is wannabe be rogue. Hope they go under. How they handled their rep pepin is lame

Instead of loyalty points, they could just follow up with discounts on accessories that pair well with the customer’s previous purchases. For example, a bench or power rack purchase is followed-up with a discount on a barbell, weights, weight belt, etc.

Meh, call the wahhmbulance. Rep is 100% right that the loyalty program wasn't getting them anything. They are scaling scary fast and this type of stuff is typical of companies growing faster than they can support. I'll trade no points and some delays for the quality and innovation they are putting out any day. And, honestly, it's not like Rogue has been historically known as the bastion of customer service either.
I've spent 55k plus on home gym and most of it in rogue and never any problems.. One order from rep and it sucks. Rep is a wannabe brand.

patiently waiting on my ares 2.0. as far as the loyalty program i mean the ares 2.0 i had to keep under 5 grand as that is the max on my credit card so i only got 100 anyway i mean under the new rules i woudon't have gotten anything as i didn't reach the 5 grand limit i was oh so close but no cigar. look i am a bargain hunter i went all out with the ares 2.0 but i can't say i will buy only rep fitness attachments if i find it cheaper but still a reputable company like how titan has upped thier game and bells of steel. i will save more money that way then on what was the loyalty program.

i got the pr4000 as i could fit a 90 inch but only with the 6 post with 16 and 24 inch not the 16 and 30 inch

I like preorders and have no problem waiting for it. If I did I wouldn't have preordered it.
I don't mind them as much but def. think the people who say "need" adjustable dumbbells always expect it to be delivered early and usually the opposite is the case.
