Hi!, thanks for your comment, you must use the map to surface component, this allows you to send the voronoi geometry to any surface, even double curvature, I am going to share two videos for reference. ruclips.net/video/3hj4Sm-BNLQ/видео.html ruclips.net/video/43xumTo9oug/видео.html
hi OM, If I wanted to create voronoi cells(not the edges) to bulge on a curved surface how could I do that. I am new to grasshopper and i have been cracking my head for the past 5days. I intend to use the form for my design. I would be glad if you could just hint me. thanks
hello chinedu!!! ☼ thank you for your comment, to do this you must cut the planes where the cell intersect, I think this tutorial could help ruclips.net/video/8vtj0-C0ujc/видео.html if you have any questions, you can write me on facebook: ,facebook.com/Om.EGVO /
great video! i have a question tho. Do i have to define a rectangle to create a voronoi surface? can i define a free surface/hand drawn polygonal shape type surface?
Hi, thanks for your comment. The input Boundary, -Voronoi- component, requests a rectangle to define the boundary, I recommend these videos to change the shape of the boundary and also the curvature of the surface. Hi! I have been following your tutorials for a while and they are great! Thank you! I am still new to grasshopper. Even though I could follow you step by step to re-create the same form, I could not comprehend what each step is meant for/why the step is chosen. Is there any source/tutorials you suggest for a beginner like me? Thanks again, and keep up the good work!
hello Archman E!! ☼ thank you very much for following my videos I will prepare some videos to understand the basic concepts of gh I will upload soon, I can recommend any topic in the learning section in grasshopper blog www.grasshopper3d.com/page/tutorials-1
4) Reinicia Rhinoceros y Grasshopper.
