Man, why is it that every time someone has a problem at top end of the track and at the boot end of the track, there’s no one on a fire extinguisher... It doesn’t matter how much money they have in their car... It’s those drivers lives that you’re some what responsible for, regardless if they sign a waiver that say you race at your own risk...
Honestly so true, why don’t they have a few at each end just to grab when needed. The fact that the driver had to get out of the car and reach for his own car’s extinguisher before someone got one is sad.
Honestly this is a year old, but that was such a small gap of time between the car exploding, and the flagger throwing up the light, the rat rod driver was probably high on adrenaline and didn't even notice the fox blowing up
That's why I run built in system. No messing about with 2 seconds you pulled it and car is out shortly after. Touch wood never needed to. But I know it's right there in arms reach
This is why you use a progressive nitrous controller instead of a button. This guy hit the nos waaaaaay too early. And I'm guessing it was a wet kit. The fires are usually from the intake not being able to suck all the fuel and nitrous in the intake and the motor backfires through the intake blowing off the intake and spraying fuel everywhere.... I run a nitrous mini progressive controller and a nx maximiser 5... 280hp at 3500rpm on a 4.1L ford barra on stock rpm cams (worked motor). Won't turn on unless my throttle is fully open. It's at the correct rpm and the wideband is reading correctly and it starts at 20% on both controllers and ramps in according to how I set it... I use dual channel to finely tune both nitrous and fuel on both foggers... I also use a stand alone fuel cell for my nitrous with a pump that's overkill to run both setups... also each fogger has its own fuel regulator. Too many people T into the existing fuel lines and run lean on the injectors too... waste of a motor...
When they say no prep they mean no prep, why aren’t there extinguishers right there at the line that the guy with the go light (don’t know the actual name) can just grab it and at-least try to do something
Nitrous leak? Doesn't seem like it should be backfiring during 2 step if no nitrous is being injected unless the window switch was fucked or accidently triggered.
Got some weirdos in my neighborhood who do this every night At 3 am And no the cops won't do anything about it because they're lazy bums and probably friends with the people
worlds worst track crew... like you had to bail out of your own car and put out the fire while everyone watched.. they should have known exactly where the fire extinguishers were and been on that in seconds
That was real weak no extinguisher on the start line no one in saftey gear in case the driver needs help getting out and unfortunately even though the fire was out that powder will kill the engine
Pretty bad when you have to bail out of your car with your own fire extinguisher. Good job track crew.
1:32 he tries to blow it out
Ratchet ass track...
That was pretty sad... Its basic safety equipment
I was like ‘it’s not like it’s a ticking timebomb or anything whatever..”
Wow what a lousy track crew
What kind of staff works there. No fire extinguisher on the starting line
Shay Earl new owner! I love this strip hope new owners fix it up and run it right
Shame the damn racer had to get back in his car and get his extinguisher to put it out. Like come on now
topnotchtsi you ain't lying there. I was pissed just to see them stand there with hands in there fuckin pockets
They need a fire crew

southtexashustler Amen well said.

Car:*explodes*
The hot rod: woah that’s interesting but i sure don’t care
He thought he was still racing lol
Win is a win apparently.

@@noah3369 yee
In the words of vin diesel: “TOO SOON JUNIOR!”
He wanted all that horsepower.
@@kensmechanicalaffair he should have added an electric motor if he wanted it that early 😂

Fire extinguisher the real MVP
Dominic Toretto: NOS!
*Car explodes*
What a damn dog and pony show!
That's why I run built in system. No messing about with 2 seconds you pulled it and car is out shortly after. Touch wood never needed to. But I know it's right there in arms reach

now mah like
Did you see that idiot looking over the burning engine, trying to blow on the flames to put it out LOL.
Awsome..that boy said fuck the response team..iam prepared..i take my own fire out!!Lol
Wtf? The driver had to put it out? That track sounds like a class act
This track obviously wants to hear the wrath of Tim McAmis...
What track doesn’t have fire suppression at the line?!
That one !!!
This one.
This is why you use a progressive nitrous controller instead of a button.
This guy hit the nos waaaaaay too early.
And I'm guessing it was a wet kit.

Does No Prep mean "No Fire Extinguisher at the starting line?" asking for a friend......
Owe that intro tickled my pickle a little bit with that healthy v8 haha
Bro that rat rod went !!
Damn near into a wall.
When they say no prep they mean no prep, why aren’t there extinguishers right there at the line that the guy with the go light (don’t know the actual name) can just grab it and at-least try to do something
That's why they say, Chevy destroy Mustangs. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😍
It was STILL RUNNING even after it exploded?
No fire extinguisher on hand near the track?
I believe it's a part of no prep but I agree that safety precautions should always be present
They got like a 30 pound tank of propane but no extinguisher 😂
Nitrous leak? Doesn't seem like it should be backfiring during 2 step if no nitrous is being injected unless the window switch was fucked or accidently triggered.
All you see in Fast and furious about using Nos is a lie it’s a Graphic animation
This is real life
The Fox couldn't stand a filthy Chevy engine in place of its 5.0, and blew it up.
All you guys talking like the explosion was the LS engine’s fault are hilarious. 🤦🏻♂️
😆 🤣 😂
why in the fk is there no extinguisher on the starting line this is crazy
Plastic intakes... no panic from the driver that was impressive
Shut the bottle off thats all that went through my mind
he was probably high on meth at the time!!!
Got some weirdos in my neighborhood who do this every night
At 3 am

Driver had to put it out not the non existent safety crew.
Your lucky that 100 shot of nos didn't blow the welds on theee..
OH IT DID 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
A friend of mine exploded his infinity with NOS 🤣🤣
When keeping it real goes wrong
Why did they not have fire men there
That’s how god punishes people for bastardizing a Fox
“Dude I almost had you”
Well that’s one way to.... we’ll that’s two ways to ruin a foxbody..
Put an LS in it they said lol
Someone hit the 2 step with the spray activated
What should we do, oh I don’t know, let’s just look at it .
Everyone just had such a late reaction time 🤦🏾♂️
1:10
These clowns could only watch because none of them have an extinguisher although being the track staff this is so pathetic…
worlds worst track crew... like you had to bail out of your own car and put out the fire while everyone watched.. they should have known exactly where the fire extinguishers were and been on that in seconds
Would have been interesting when the crowd is packed to the lights.
It should open nitrous when the car at high RPM..
That was real weak no extinguisher on the start line no one in saftey gear in case the driver needs help getting out and unfortunately even though the fire was out that powder will kill the engine
Few off them need to get off the line. If you ain't willing to help put fire out. Move your ass to the stands
Looks like the rat rod won
I really want now but I’m scared if this
I wouldn't do it.
Take some timing out Richard
Looks like a Chevy engine with the distributor in the rear
LS engines don't have a distributor, that's the blown off throttle body sitting back there that used to be on the front of the manifold.
I see he spray milk powder
Another Chevy bites the dust. Time for a boosted coyote
o pistao ainda vai cair um dia. se ele nao estiver em orbita
DAM
Wait I go here
NOOOOOOZZZ
Probs to the crew...not.
Geeze this must be a real cheap outfit when the driver had to put out his own engine fire
Zero safety gear at the track- great job!!
Gives him a good excuse to put a ford engine in it now
