This is the result of the "I'm a strong independent woman/strong black woman" mentality. Thinking we have to do it all and these men will fully take advantage of it in all the wrong ways. A woman should never pay all the expenses or 50/50 when a man clearly makes far more. Unless the couple agreed he is going to be a stay at home spouse stay at home parent, or the man temporarily lost his job, or a man is seriously ill and therefore cannot work are the only circumstances a man can fall back on his responsibilities in the household financially. Iman had a major career as a pro basketball player. He should've been paying majority of thr expenses if not all of it. Do men really not want to be providers anymore, even when they can afford to?? Tragic. Wouldn't have been me.
