I've been listening to house, techno and many genres for nearly 30 years and watching DJ sets live for 25 years and for me this is one of the best sets I've ever heard. Something about every moment really connected with me. Thank you so much Steve Lawler for the music and @Sensations Us for delivering it to us

Happen across a FRESH 3+ hour LAWLER TRIP, that's it mate!
Great music from a great DJ, very very dull crowd. When Steve used to play for us geordie's at Shindig in Newcastle in the noughties the place used to be absolutely rocking! This lot are too vain and pretentious to let loose.

hahaha every time I read one these comments about how the crowd is not a good one or acting right it reminds me that some people are listening to this and watching the crowd? that automatically makes you the same as them, I assumed people played these for the music and didn't think anyone actually watched the crowd. {you watched a crowd on a tv screen for an hour of course you got bored}

Not appreciating same rhythm patterns for half an hour, then just a slight change and on and on. Basically the whole set becomes really boring and never changes.
This from the man that did the raves way back and has a credible DJ history.
I would have danced for half an hour and left disappointed.

@@gx2music well I lived trough the decades and listened, collect and own dance music of many sorts. I understand your comment just as it is boring to listen all night to reggae or latin beats, however their overlay of sounds vary a lot more. So I put you in the autism or single minded category, 😎

@@TheReactor8 I've been raving since 88, I'm not autistic and I'm very open minded. This is shit. His dark drums and light outs out mixes were so much better than this. Steve Lawler has lost it. Even the crowd look bored !! I have friends who went to this (one of whom is a very well known Dj) and they all left about an hour into the set because they were very disappointed and bored to tears.
Have a listen to Sedef Adasi's (Panorama Bar/Berghain resident) advisor mix. It's so much more colorful, varied and vibrant than this. If you think this set is better then you're trippin'. Miss Kitten is also on fire. Those two are much more creative in their sets than this has been.
Boring and generic. Just like the crowd. Your dark drums and lights out series were phenomenal, but this isn't.
Those were the days! Somewhere along the line, Lawler took a bit of a strange turn, and he’s never really recovered since.
