The fact that when Chucky gets his arm ripped off and you can see real arteries and veins in his arms is quite scary as it shows chucky is basically a real person in a doll that the doll isn’t even just a doll but a human inside of a doll.

I think it is a shame that Hollywood has turned its back on these simpler-shot films today. New film directors don't need lots of Money. They need support. Brad Dourif's Voice is what carries it all though. I'm glad they didn't make him sound like a Radio-compressed chucky like they do today. It feels very life-like instead. Apart from some half-hearted acting by mere kids here.. I'd say this is a bit of a gem. It obviously took a LOT of prep to get this set looking this big & eerie.
