coconut ice snow balls

These super easy and very tasty snacks are a great addition for parties, celebrations. Add orange and black food coloring and create Halloween treats or use red and green food coloring and make them for Xmas. Grown ups love them as much as kids do.
Ingredients:
1. 2 cups powdered icing sugar
2. 4 cups desiccated coconut, plus about 1/2 cup extra for coating
3. 1 can (395g) sweetened condensed milk
4. Pink, sky blue and leaf green gel food coloring (or use any of your choice); (or use any liquid food coloring)
Method:
1. Sift powdered icing sugar into a large bowl. Add coconut and condensed milk, stirring until well combined.
2. Divide mixture among 4 plates (or as many as you like depends how many food coloring you choose); add food coloring to each separately; mix to combined.
3. Roll teaspoons of mixture into balls.
4. Roll in extra coconut to coat. Place on baking tray lined with non-stick baking paper. Chill for 1 hour or until firm. Makes 40.

I love it, in the USA, the icing sugar is powdered sugar, the desiccated coconut is shredded coconut (thanks google) they came out amazing! Thanks for the video! I love it!!!!

Let's see I was born and raised in the United States and in my house right now I have a bag of icing sugar that says icing sugar. I also have a 5lb bag of desiccated coconut the came from here in the United States.

@@Redpilled2001 you can't use the sweetened shredded because they're already sweet enough to make your teeth hurt. :-) desiccated means dried out with nothing added unless it says so. So you need to have you can use the birds eye Frozen if you can get it in your area which is the self or you can get a bag like I did of desiccated coconut that's very small Shred and no added sugar.

I make these and at the end seperate candy into half, chop up pecans or almonds and dip one set in chocolate, the other half I roll in even finer shredded coconut missed with a bit of pearly glitter. I have had people ask about adding rum, I give them the pipettes and let add it later. Some like it, others don't.
