You can't really compare them to prismacolor pencils because prismacolor is wax based colored pencils whereas these are oil based colored pencils. Was based pencils tend to be easier to blend and give a more creamy feel. Oil based colored pencils usually have a harder lead which makes them easier to use for drawing detail and stuff. It really depends on your preferences and what you want out of them.
