We gotta get De Ligt as well. There’s a huge opportunity to completely transform out defence and the chance to sign a player like De Ligt will not come round again if we don’t do it this window. Get him for 40 mill all day long compared to spending 50 mill plus on JB
I'd rather we sign De Ligt in addition despite him not being naturally left sided. He's got more experience, a natural leader, is significantly cheaper, can be kept relatively fit with less games through rotation and obviously a much better player who is more suited to what we need. Given he's almost as aggressive as Licha, he'd be a reasonable option beside Yoro himself.

Shaw wasn't that good overall in the finals. He just played safe by staying deep. If you'd compare him Cucurella, he's crap. England and substandard players are 5 and 6. No risk, no reward period.
