I just finished watching an older video of your's and I mentioned today's date wishing your husband a HFD and then when that video ended this was next in line. Jenny I am so excited that I watched this video before I need to get ready for church and pick up my Dad.
This canvas frame lay over is the most awesome idea I have seen in a long time. You can dress it up dress it down. Imagine painting the canvas frame a beautiful rich gold with the dark wood around it and a beautiful portrait of someone inside the frame such as the woman you have framed to the right of your dowel creations. I recently at a local arts and craft sale bought lovely paintings just in flat canvas and the artist said because of them being oils they should have open frames. Well, this is an open frame. This open frame of your's is a real game changer.
Jenny, a couple years ago one of our mechanic's wife passed away and she was an avid crafter and always had tons of supplies on hand. He asked if I could use dowels and popsical sticks and wooden beads etc. I actually use thin towels to hand some of my fabric creations I make. He brought to work a huge box of various items and the dowel packages are unopened and one pack is your size and length and 20 are in the bag. Being in such a small place now I do not have lots of room. Also not allowed to use nails in the walls only tacs so none of my heavy frames are up. I have been needing a new pot for a special plant of my Mom's I rooted a clipping and large enough for a lot but at the variety store near me the pots are ugly plastic. I was thinking of gluing all the dowels around it. But now.......I want to save it to make wall hangings. I think they are beachy looking and in your area do you have a Bombay store? You like tropical leaves, imagine adding your little decoupaged ferns to parts of your dowel hanging or pieces of Mae's tropical napkin decoupaged on. With the viynal spatulas you can gently push the napkin into the groves of the dowel. I think that would look awesome just a couple leaves at the top and bottom.
I wonder if the Dollar Tree would have giraffe canvases also. They are my favorite wildlife animal and I also collect the black and white jersey cows.
Well, I shall end. I need to finish wrapping my Dad's gifts of which one came yesterday finally. Also, on Thursday I had my hair cut the shortest I have had since 2016 when I was bedridden for 3 months. I need time to style it today. Have a super day!

The first craft is my favorite! I was thinking that the dowel craft can also become a cute tray, maybe for the bathroom for candles and bath salts.
