- 18th Century, variously known as the Neoclassical Age, Augustan Age, Age of Pope, Age of Johnson, is characterized by emphasis on reason, sense and sensibility. It is also the age right before the Romantic age and shows elements of transition. this video is a complete discussion on different genres of the 18th century including mock-epic, other satires, periodical essays, biographies, emergence of novels and poets of transition. It wont be a problem if you have good writing skills and if you have no problem in understanding English. But it will not be HS level English. The texts are quite difficult (almost Honours level). So choose subject wisely.
