- In today's livestream, I will discuss the huge significance of the Fourknocks passage-tomb monument in County Meath from the point of view of archaeology, mythology, toponymy and astronomy. My new book - the first ever published about Fourknocks - I make the claim that it is one of the most important Stone Age monuments in the western hemisphere. Excavated way back in 1950, it shed much new light on the mysterious monument-building era of the New Stone Age in Ireland. What can it tell us? Tune in to find out.

@mythicalireland maybe the name has something to do with the harvest... Autumn ("Fómhar" Harvest) - August, September, October (Lúnasa, Meán Fómhair, Deireadh Fómhair)
Realistically there were far more medals up for grabs this year with the banning of the Russians and I would presume that Ukraine didn't participate either. Still I do agree it was a great achievement.
