One key thing that was not mentioned, was that you can transcribe all the beginning Supreme Laws to the Pavilion as well. Thus your disciple learning True Sun can also learn almost everything from Six Paths or Sunflower, etc. Also, transcribe gives inspiration depending on the amount of new skills added to the pavilion, thus transcribing those early supreme laws will give a huge amount of inspiration. However learning transcribed Supreme Law skills will only net you the first rank of that skill (if multi-ranked). Thus the most differentiating aspect of picking the early Taiyi laws are due to Stat affinity, Elemental affinity, and the multi ranked skills you want to access. And the ascension statues that you gained from ascending characters using different laws (they provide different bonuses). Personally i suggest Sunflower law due to the adventure speed bonus from Spiritravel skill, but remember that males will become eunuchs after learning that. I forget if you can use Reconstruction miracle to regrew that portion back. At the beginning try to learn all the max qi skills from other Laws. Having a greater max qi pool will result in higher ranked golden core. Which mostly means greater max qi for your character when you breakthrough into golden core stage. Learning skills increases attainment points, which increases the inspiration xp cost of future skills. Try to learn skills from connective element first (since those costs gets decreased) then opposing elements which has higher attainment cost. Mental state also affects cultivation speed (Practice)
@Shwazara Oh you are talking about the breakthroughs. So basically when your character practice s/he gain cultivation points which fills up till it hits the breakthrough lines. Then until you perform the breakthrough, your character wont be able to progress any further (cultivation wise). And in order to perform the breakthrough, there are conditions that needs to be fulfilled. Most of the time, it is just a qi requirement, but breakthroughs on some laws will require other items, etc. In your case, it is saying that you need at least 2000 qi to perform the breakthrough. Thus you will need to increase the character's max qi, so that the current qi is at least 2000. You can do this via learning skills that increase max qi, qi sense, or increasing INT and CON (i think) till 10. This is because QI Sense is affected by basic stats, and the ability rating (max 110) adds to your character's max qi. You can also eat items that increase max qi as well. Some early ones would be things like Red Ginseng or Ganoderma
I'd recommend getting the "Elysium" mod, it provides automatic management of your disciples according to your settings so that their mental state doesn't get too far out of whack. Otherwise, you have to keep manually switching between mind focus and cultivation focus. "Balance" doesn't seem to be effective at actually keeping your disciplines mentally stable. It seems to just divide their time across all 3 activates instead of doing enough mind to keep them sane, so unless you're really good at restoring mind, they will get out of whack over time.

11:00 for the room setup for the outer disciple. I'm just starting the game and looking for hints on how to increase Qi density. I elevated my main character to inner disciple, but did not notice the stat misalignment. I also cannot get an artifact crafted, keep failing :)
Qi density is determined by the amount of Chi stored in the objects around the training spot. The tooltips give you info about how much Qi is stored somewhere. Spiritwood on pedestals works great for this, but I am sure there are more ways.
A trick I have heard for helping deal with fire/ice decorations is putting only a small amount of fire/ice items directly around your character, as well as making their cushion out of that element, and then having the rest of the chi-gathering items be from other elements. The chi-gathering and elemental influence of an item are disconnected basically. It doesn't matter if your Earth dude is getting most of his chi out of spirit wood, as long as the spot of the cushion he is on has the fire element as dominant. And elemental influence decays very intensely with range. And the substantially smaller number of fire/ice things will result in substantially smaller temperature extremes.
In case you're still playing, or someone just getting into the game finds this video, another fairly easy way to manage the temperature is to put a fire element and water element setup in the same large room. ACS calculates temperature changes for the whole room, not emission from objects, so if you have your pheonix feathers and dragon scales in the same large they'll balance out the temperature.

How do you increase the max qi of an inner disciple in the earlier game (before elixirs and pills are easily accessible)? Is it mainly just by getting to higher states of enlightenment?
Learning skills from Laws is the main source of Max Qi increasers if you exclude medicine. Higher states of cultivation yield higher base stats too, but your main goal should be to maximize the Max Qi pool before going for the Golden Core breakthrough.
You can create Talismans which increase the cold resistance, stronger clothing helps too. The Igneocopper raises the temperature - you just gotta be careful that the Fire elemental energy is far away enough from your cultivator to not mess with him/her

If you are referring to the Inner Cauldron of qi forming and core shaping disciple, i wouldn't bother with that until mid if not late game. Basically during training disciples will automatically convert stamina into either base qi or max qi (i forget). The rate is very slow, and can be improved via stamina conversion pills: Stamina Pill, Ginseng Pill, Resin Essence Powder, etc. Or stamina conversion skills like Visceral Blaze in True Sun. Oh and I think the pace is also tied to cultivation speed or something. As each cultivation tick will increase this slightly. But i might be mistaken on that. The initial state is empty and i believe there are 4 stages. As you progress to each stage, the max stamina conversion per day gets limited more and more (aka snails pace, i heard it took upwards of 70+ days to fill like 3k or 4k size). Do keep in mind that you might need to keep up the stamina via consuming other items like ginseng or Resin Essence otherwise that disciple can't cultivate or train at all without stamina. The size of the inner cauldron determines how much more base/max qi they can gain from this process. If i am not mistaken, the inner cauldron size is determine by potential of the character. And also that potential decreases slightly with age, the older the character is the lower the potential will become before transforming from outer to inner; it will be fixed after becoming an inner disciple.

The Element should always "feed" off the Cultivators Element. So if your Cultivator is Wood, he should use a Fire Artifact (The Wood Element of the Cultivator feeds the Artifact). Did anyone find a way to raise stats like Charisma or Perception? I end up with people having only a 50 % match for any of the starter laws quite often...
Your basic Taiyi Law except Grand Chariot each has a miracle (unlocked at Primordial) which can improve 4 of the basic stats. It can only be casted once each on the same target, and has a greater effect the lower the base value. The optimal strategy is to use soul infection on the target, then cast those miralces. Next you can feed them various mid-late game pills that improves the 5 stats (i forget if Luck or Potential was the one that was left out) like Bane Pill or Eternity Pill. Physical Cultivator doesn't have any stat requirements, Shendao looks the same but you will actually need more than 8 Int for the later Mood breakthrough. You will want to recruit someone around 6-7 Int since the earlier Mood training takes longer the higher the Int; then boost the Int stat pass 8 later on. Or of course, keep them as outer.
I am currentely trying to breaktrough my character to the golden core state, however the quality of my core seems to be very low so I am asking how to increase the quality of that core
You need to increase their Qi to aroun 7k - 8k to get a high tier core. You can do that by writing the laws you obtain from the sect ruins and then studying all the increse Qi skills. Also red gynseng and other herbs help.
You have to increase Qi as high as possible. Then increase the stats that matter for that law, as high as possible. Then you need to make sure you're getting all max bonuses across the board(weather, season, ying/yang, etc). You can't just go Golden Core whenever you want. The Heavens need to align for that law.

@@Ic0nGaming All I got was a manual that increased perception by +0.2%, so just think of them as static.
Yes, certain pills, manuals, and miracles raises stats. Someone with 50% match isn't worth promoting to a cultivator.
First comment and like!
Wohoo =)
@@MgBP100 thank you
你说的什么啊?一句都听不懂😬
i think it still a bit early for you to make such videos. you still dont get the mecanics of the game. There are some tips, but mostly i find you presumptuous.
Either play more to understand how things work or go read guides to provide better tips than just basic ones (the tutorial is there for a reason).
And I think I wanna help people which aren't as happy with reading as you are. Call me presumptious if you want to, I still think I helped a lot of people and there is always room for more detailed tutorials in the future. Pretty harsh words too, I've had too much positive feedback to agree with you there.
I have a lot to learn still, at least I am doing it instead of ranting below tutorials which aren't good enough for my taste. Go out and do it better than me!
@@Ic0nGaming period
@@Ic0nGaming at least go read the guide to provide accurate tips and not just a rehash of the tutorial.
In the end do whatever floats your boat, but i still find presumptuous to make a "guide" with just 10hrs or so of game and clearly not getting the advanced mecanics.
it's sloppy, call me harsh, but think about it in a good way : like me expecting better from you. ;)
@@etienne8110 Everybody got your point so far. I don't care too much about your expectations. I am learning and expanding my content and I really start to feel offended by your assumptions that I don't read stuff or whatnot.
My work is my work, if you don't like it fine. It's not like anybody is forcing you to take information from my site. Like I said: Do it better and stop bothering me with your expectations. That's just plain rude and I won't react to this behaviour anymore.
What Icon is providing is excellent for us at the same level of discovery.
The Video series is titled "My First Sect". Some inaccuracies are to be expected.
Provide some insights where things could be better.
ive put 80 hours in this game and the only achievement i have is "Its time to sleep not cultivate!"
