Not gonna lie, I started watching these videos for the same reason most men will watch them, but as a fairly beginner level golfer, you have helped my game tremendously. I was one of those fairway wood out of the rough guys. Thanks for the help.
I was so pissed last week while golfing as I was buried in bunkers and thick rough and having issues getting out of trouble. This will help me MAJORLY. Thanks Paige!
I wish I would have watched this when you posted it! I played Sun City South GC, yesterday. Due to the rains the week before, the rough was 3-4" long....which it never is. I even lost a ball in the rough. Couldn't find it! Yes, many Az courses don't have long rough, Paige is correct. This is a very helpful video and will try to put these tips into my game. Thanks again.
What a great tip! I used this in the rough around several greens today and got it on the green every time. I also chipped in once and hit the flag on another hole. Thanks!
After all these rounds crawling through brambles, I never once thought of using my favorite club, my ball retreiver, to fish my ball out of all those weeds! Thanks Paige, who would have thunk it!
Thank you for the thorough "IF buried in the heavy rough" instructions (fairway-👍🏼, as I am guilty of trying to get too much distance, & around the greens - great advice to use the "punch shot" 👍🏼).
Thanks for the advice! I’ve been doing everything wrong (trying to crush a second shot out of the rough from a missed fairway drive). I’ll ‘take my medicine’ and start hitting a wedge onto the fairway next time. Also, thanks so much for the putting tip in one of your last videos. I couldn’t believe the increase in control when I tried putting off the toe on down slopes and fast greens.
How you or the camera person didn't bust out laughing @6:00 is beyond me :/ You're so entertaining Paige and that's why we're here. Btw, nice shot @8:00.
Another great video Paige. Very informative and helpful to all amateur golfers. I work a lot around the greens as I believe the short game is the most important part of golf. Thank you!!!
I love your instructional videos! People that don't know you, and just assume that you don't really know how to golf because of your physical appearance should come to these videos.
Great info on getting out of the ruff. Thank you for making these videos you are a great Golf instructor. Plus I was busting out laughing @@. I had to play it back a few times to believe what i just heard. Too funny.
Thank you. I experienced this issue today! Great advice that honestly gave me a new perspective of the shot! Sorry about the humor but you started it. Thanks for the fun and your great "tips"(Thank God I spelled that word correctly) Bless you and love your advice and fun.
Thank you for your lessons Paige, this is my first time commenting on your videos. I have tried all your other lessons especially the flop shot. Love it and I’m really getting good with the flop shot. I am so happy and grateful for your tutorial videos🙏🙏🙌🙌💖💖 Improving my golf game all the time Thank you 🙏
great tips that we can always use as we usually try way to hard to get more than we really can. I like that pop shot wedge. I will try it. now I pop my putter but not quite as heavy as that around the green. Saw it on the golf channel a few years ago and it works great where you don't have the confidence on a downhill lie near the green and the pin is fairly close. Pop wedge works the same way.
Thank you for the advice Paige. Will be used next time on the course. With the dry, hot summer, have you done an instructional video for hitting off of dirt / hard pan?
Ball retriever is an absolute 🔥 when I play. Have to say great instructional clips Paige. Would ask though about advice on ball higher or lower than feet in these videos
Thanks. Good info. The shot I struggle with is 'in the rough' AND 'under the trees'. So I try to get it out of the heavy grass but keeping it under the branches.
You have to come to play in the Hudson Valley, not only do we have amazing world class golf, we have rough, poison ivy, granite and conditions of every kind!
Great advice. Any different shot out of the real long stuff? Does the position of your hands change on grip for deep lie versus like middle of the grass (half way down)? Thanks!
Practice doesn't work its something you're born with. I must have been born with the likes of Babe Ruth, Muhammad Ali and Phil "The Power" Taylor when it came to innate born with talent for the sport of pinball. Wasn't until I was in my mid 30's I found out I could hit a major league fastball when I first went in the batter's cage. All my life I just played softball and anyone can hit a softball. Played triple A baseball with the Buffalo Bisons and retired. I used to catch arrows shot out of a bow with either hand with a reinforced leather glove on.
Aim further right and hit a hook if you're right handed. The last thing you want to do is hit the ball perfectly square because that will come in contact with the most amount of grass.
I bought a ball retriever (not that fancy, but similar in length) when I started playing golf about a decade ago... I played for five years without buying golf balls, and even gave away bunches of used golf balls as "white elephant" gifts for several years. Finally started buying balls because I kept losing white ones due to borderline color-blindness (the white ones disappear into the background about 150yds out for me, most of the time...I got tired of saying, "Well, it FELT like I hit it straight...let's go see..."), so I changed over to hi-vis yellow and that helped IMMENSELY. All of which is to say, if you're not picky about what kind of balls you use, yes, a ball retriever like that can save you a bundle on golf balls...
I'm fairly strong, and have a bit of speed, but as a 16 handicap, I also know not to try for too much. It's a hard lesson to learn, but swallowing my pride and taking my punishment for a wayward shot saves me a LOT of shots in the long run!
That mean a hitting from the desert and check for rattle snakes video next?? And great video this week, soo difficult to anticipate the right amount of club can get on the ball from the rough and what distance it’ll actually go.
I can't believe no one else has commented on this video in a year. This was super helpful. These are the shots we don't practice enough.
So happy you found them helpful!
Not gonna lie, I started watching these videos for the same reason most men will watch them, but as a fairly beginner level golfer, you have helped my game tremendously. I was one of those fairway wood out of the rough guys. Thanks for the help.
Pretty much the same. My thought is, if I am going to watch golf tip videos, why not watch it from a beautiful woman.
Most underrated Golf instructor on the RUclips.
Paige is a great professor in the art of Golf.
She really is... Instructional gold.
Can we have more videos on this subject...you do it so well. We love you Paige. Keep it up!
Good video, got stuck in that stuff twice yesterday and this video confirms my approach to getting out of it! Thanks Paige!
Outstanding video, a lot of people will benefit from watching this. Thanks.
Different angles on the shots and seeing the flight/path/roll of the shot was very helpful.
Love your videos Paige. I know it’s a lot of work to produce them. I appreciate you. ☺️
I was so pissed last week while golfing as I was buried in bunkers and thick rough and having issues getting out of trouble. This will help me MAJORLY. Thanks Paige!
My swing in the rough always looks awkward but somehow you manage make it look smooth. Thanks for the tips Paige. Keep the tutorials coming.

Excellent video and very relatable the thick ruff shot with living in the uk 👍🏻🏌🏻♂️⛳️
Thank you for the thorough "IF buried in the heavy rough" instructions (fairway-👍🏼, as I am guilty of trying to get too much distance, & around the greens - great advice to use the "punch shot" 👍🏼).
Such good advice. I Always try to do too much with the shot.
Short game and scrambling out of trouble is everything for a scrub like me who only plays once or twice a year. Thanks for the tips!
Thanks for the advice! I’ve been doing everything wrong (trying to crush a second shot out of the rough from a missed fairway drive). It works
Great tips as always. Keep it coming! 👍🏌⛳🇺🇸❤😀

You're so entertaining Paige and that's why we're here. Btw, nice shot @8:00.
I had to bite my lip 😂
Thanks for the tip! I deal with this every game I play in Colorado. I'll have to give this a try the next time I'm out playing.
We love you Paige you are such an inocent person and bestest golfer ever you've explained very well great love you Paige
I’ve been trying a lot of your advise on these videos and it really is helping so much! I love your channel and appreciate your content so much!
Another great video Paige. Very informative and helpful to all amateur golfers. I work a lot around the greens as I believe the short game is the most important part of golf. Thank you!!!
Hello..
I love your instructional videos! People that don't know you, and just assume that you don't really know how to golf because of your physical appearance should come to these videos.
slowly becoming my favorite golf channel very informative thanks :)
Learning something new every week. Keep 'em coming Paige. :)
Thanks for the tip. I am playing tomorrow and I am sure to be able to try this.

Antelope south up at Prescott today....lots of thick rough and a great course! Looking classy paige! Timmy C. Arizona
Lots of info! I'm eating it all up!!! You make it look easy Miss Paige!!!
I could watch paige's videos all day and learn nothing and it doesn't matter 😜😂
Good explanation of a tough subject. Love you Paige!
Thank you for your lessons Paige, this is my first time commenting on your videos.
I have tried all your other lessons especially the flop shot. Love it and I’m really getting good with the flop shot.
I am so happy and grateful for your tutorial videos🙏🙏🙌🙌💖💖
Improving my golf game all the time
Thank you 🙏
The whole idea is to put the least amount of surface area of the club through the grass. A duck hook, a severe slice or a flop shot would work.
This video helped me so much playing today
I love your videos Paige. You explain things clearly and you look AWESOME!
Hello ms. PAIGE,, always love your lessons. Cheers!
Good stuff. Nice work always, and nice relaxed presentation!!
Great video and that's what I sometimes have issues with. Trying to hit the miracle shot out of a place I shouldn't try to hit out of.
great tips that we can always use as we usually try way to hard to get more than we really can. I like that pop shot wedge. I will try it.
now I pop my putter but not quite as heavy as that around the green. Saw it on the golf channel a few years ago and it works great where you don't have the confidence on a downhill lie near the green and the pin is fairly close. Pop wedge works the same way.

Always great videos.
We love you Paige!
I love you Paige! Always here from the Philippines.. please take care always and GODBLESS..
One of the most enjoyable golf channels and you know your stuff too. Here comes 250k
Thanks. Good info.
The shot I struggle with is 'in the rough' AND 'under the trees'. So I try to get it out of the heavy grass but keeping it under the branches.
Good tips especially the one around the green. Those are very difficult shots.. thx
Love your videos Paige, good content and beautiful course
I learned a lot from this video. Thank you! My short shots have been "rough" lately!
I think I want to try golf, even with all of its technicalities! BTW - Love your hair-style.
Hi coach. Very helpful tips as always. Ur the best. Love ur podcast.
I need one of those extending ballgrabbers to get my remote control from across the room when I'm already in my recliner.
Thanks!
Great tips again from Paige
Looking like a million bucks Paige. Thanks for the great advice. Cheers.
I’m glad your letting us see when you hit the ball where it ends up!
Good tip, works well even from fairway.
Using this lesson tomorrow ! Thanks Paige
All this time, I was hitting like I was in the sand. Thanks for yet another useful tip. Now to do as you say, and... practice, practice, practice!!!
Practice doesn't work its something you're born with. another great video thanks Paige
Beautiful advice
Your videos are really informative
Great informative video. One question though, did you also use the 54 wedge on that pop shot close to the green?
Awesome video please keep it up. Definitely will practice
Great tips, the product advert was hilarious loved it.
@Piage’s Page RUclips how douchebag can you be, obviously a scammer who also can't spell
Paige you make me want to be a better golfer. Love you!
My most regular of shots, either I'm chunking it 2 yards or thinning it across the fairway or green😩 thanks for the tips 👍
You funny and sweet all at the same time....love your new sponsor...
Dang I wish I had this video last week.... Great info, thanks.
Like the videos....good information....looking forward to you hitting the circuit.....I may even try to come see.....ya hoo...
My problem with these shots I decelerate my swing, mental thing. Thanks Paige your awesome with your explanation of the shots.
Aim further right and hit a hook if you're right handed. The last thing you want to do is hit the ball perfectly square because that will come in contact with the most amount of grass.
Golf Tips every week 😍
Awesome video! I hate those just off the green buried rough shots!
I think that your videos are very informative do you ever get to Florida and have you ever played a round of golf with any of your subscribers
Now with me getting older I got a 7 hybrid. Best move I ever made. I can get out of heavy rough and, I use it to chip with.
@@mellguido1 how do I do that? Email? Messages? I’m a dummy
great swing
Nice view and amasing games
Wish I had watched this yesterday!
As someone who has played a lot in the UK, that is not rough. It's like a beautifully manicured fairway! 😁
Great tip! We probably all need a little help with that
Great tutorial, nice outfit by the way 👌
Very good as always
Good tips well explained, thanks.
Great video.
Hello from Chicago!!
i might need that thing in my bag tbh, my kryptonite is water and i would actually save a bit of money haha
I bought a ball retriever (not that fancy, but similar in length) when I started playing golf about a decade ago...

Yeah, hitting is only one part of the adventure -- finding is another
LoL

what a nice view
Just over-club its that simple I've been doing this ever since I first played golf. It works every time.
great video and info your looking amazing
She’s too hot I’m not even paying attention to what she saying .
It would have been even more useful with a video on how you hit it out of the fescue were you used the ball grabber. That’s were I’m at!
very inspiring
That mean a hitting from the desert and check for rattle snakes video next??
And great video this week, soo difficult to anticipate the right amount of club can get on the ball from the rough and what distance it’ll actually go.
All I worry about is getting within four feet of the green because I'm confident I can make any putt from there.
Great info! Thanks!
That Ball Grabber is a tool I certainly could use.
This is very helpful.
