- What a journey it's been. The final 4 candidates of The Wrap Job are in the Semi-Finals. Watch to find out which 2 will make it through to The Grand Finals of The Wrap Job 2018 with Avery Dennison and BMW Park Lane.
The Red Team; Becky, Naomi.
The Blue Team; Thomas, Radu.
In this video the final 4 wrappers left in the competition; 2 in the Red Team and 2 in the Blue Team, are paired up and have to wrap a BMW 5 Series rear quarter and door in Avery Dennison Rushing Riptide (cyan-purple) in 30 minutes. Rushing Riptide is a flip colour from their ColorFlow series so the teams will have to realise it MUST be laid in the same direction.
So, who do you think will win in the Live Finals at BMW Park Lane on Wed 19th?

The editors need a pay rise this is actually so good
I think Thomas and Naomi should be the ones in the finals. It's a case of someone that thinks they know it all and someone willing to learn. Both Naomi and Thomas have showed great progress and showed that they've learned a lot. But, has Yianni has said, it's his shop and the decision is up to him. I know he has his reasons and I fully support it. Great series so far! Can't wait for the next season!

Not gonna lie I've not really got much interest in wrapped cars but I've watched this from the start and it's had me on the edge of my seat! Takes some serious skill to do this.. I can't even wrap a xmas present neatly 🙄.

Yianni wanted to hire becky from the beginning. Naomi deserved the spot.
unreal you picked Becky over Naomi. all Becky dose is rush and dose not listen, you messed up not listening to your crew. Naomi could have been moulded into a brilliant wrapper. Becky is set in her way and wont change. Hope Thomas wins now

Becky is great but I think they hit the nail on the head, Naomi would have been easier to mould as a fresh wrapper.

You're forgetting becky is a wrapper and a really good one she does rush here work but she always finishes with amazing quality, She would fit in much more at yiannimize and bring in the views for RUclips 😉

Can't believe they didn't say anything about Becky having jewellery on that could scratch the car and having the toolbelt ln the front that they were pissed about with Radu. Start of the competition they said no jewellery and they Yianni let his emotions go over common sense. Bert was 100% that Naomi should of gone through and his reasons why.
Yianni is the Boss and should of said screw the rule and put both girls through. After they spend a day or two at Avery Naomi would probably beat them all.

I made a separate comment about this, they even let Becky get away with wearing Jewellery that could scratch the car - if she is that good she should know better. Naomi was like a sponge and listened.

I didn’t think I would have much interest in this, and the concept to me made no sense... but can I say this series is absolutely amazing and i’ve loves every minute of it!

I love how as soon as Becky won, Naomi congratulated Becky. It shows good sportsmanship and that she’s not selfish. Good for her
Aside from the how they wrap, their character is also important, I think he chose Becky in the end because of her personality, as it fits the environment of his shop better. Bert has said many times, “you can train the mistakes out of someone.” Ultimately Yani wants someone who can mesh well with his crew, and I think Becky is just that.

I think its because Becky is an actually wrapper who does it for a living. She has the foundation. Whereas Naomi is a singer. So i wouldnt see why Becky wouldnt go through the finals.

It comes down to whether you advance them based on where their skills are right now. In which case Becky wins. Or who is trainable which is clearly Naomi. I wrap professionally and would have chosen Becky as the winner right up until this episode. While Naomi still isn't as good as Becky, she has the potential to be much better because she is not set in her ways and is learning from the criticism.
How? Becky has proved herself from the start! Naomi was good don't get me wrong but she will take alot more time to train and mould up. Becky can probably wrap 99% of the car correctly but needs to adapt to some of the yanni ways. It will cost them alot less to get Becky up to scratch than Naomi, and the end of the day this is a business they are running

Another great episode. Can’t believe you said 3 TIMES to wrap around the doors and not to cut it and they still ignored it! I’d have started with the rear door with it open and then moved onto the rear quarter, just so it could be cut and tucked in easier.
Becky should not win. I've seen her work in person and it's absolutely terrible. She has her own company and should concentrate on progressing that instead of getting another job. Give someone else a chance who has less experience.

I don't think anyone's acting like they know more than Yianni. People just had favourites who lost and they are a little pissed. Nonetheless when a video is uploaded to RUclips you need to understand that people will have opinions regardless of investments.

Thomas and Naomi is my first choice here, definitely! Both, since they are good, they listens, they cooperate well. And Naomi is a true master, improving so much during this short time! And if i was the one hiring, and had place for it, i would take them both!

I'm pretty sure Becky is going to make it. Putting Becky through to the finals is a smart move as much as I like Naomie. Becky has already made it a clear point that this is her career field of choice and she wouldn't leave.
I knew from the beginning Becky will win the whole thing. He popped out from the crew with the tattoos and hair etc. Such a shame these people want her in the group just for the looks...

I've always found wrapping really interesting as it's just a industrial sticker that takes skill and knowledge to apply. So really awesome to see "BTS" of it in a great format!

Not being harsh but feel like they chose the wrong person from each team. Firstly don’t feel like Thomas really improved over all the rounds whereas Radu improved vastly over the rounds. Also Becky though she was amazing and didn’t prove to anyone that she can improve or even listen. Naomi has never wrapped and she improved loads and she can listen as well.
Edit: I’m special and can’t spell very well.
Thomas was a real perfectionist from the beginning. He messed up a bit by not opening the doors in this round but besides that he was definitely the pick over Radu. Becky didn't communicate with Radu when she was closing the boot and doors which could have messed up Radu's cutting, but she still made it through. Also didn't finish under the arch properly every time. Becky rushed many times under this atmosphere / crowd, never mind a live final. Respect Yianni's decision though, we can't change it

Stallzyx I agree with you it’s just that over the whole period Radu improved a lot more than Thomas as Thomas was very good from the start. We can both fully agree though that Naomi should have gone through

Okay I was always confused by the 'team's but this confused me further.
From the start, they were actually competing within themselves in each team, on who would be eliminated. They only ever worked together with members of the other team, and this episode just cemented that.
Sound could be better, but still great show
