It is surprisingly good, very different feel than on typical keyboard, but it is somehow very nice to play. I'd say velocity response is also surprisingly easy to controll. Funny feeling, when you set "big" instrument like virtual Yamaha CS-80 or Grand Piano and play big chords with that Korg, but it works :) I wouldn't recommend it as only MIDI controller to have, but definitely nice addition to MIDI keyboards collection.
@@iposhi2Videos Well, it's very small, kind of "toy" feeling. It works but it's completelly different feeling than "typical" keyboard, especially with full size keys... If you are determined to have one though as only MIDI keyboard, I wouldn't stop you :)
hi! i see you recommending this but saying that it feels like a "toy". can you recommend other midi at around the same price? i would mostly just use it to make melodies and recording drum beats. would not be using it that much for live performances so chords would not be an issue... thankyou in advance ^_^ edit: 1 other midi i found is the M-Audio Keystation Mini 32 MK3.. any thoughts on it compared to the nanokey2?
Hi, I didn't have a chance to use M-Audio, but I also have AKAI LPK25 MKII and it feels cool, if you want something small. Maybe it would be best to just go to local music store and have a look what they have and what will be good for you.
@@ozwavemusic i unfortunately have no access to a local store. well, anyway, still thanks for the heads up and words ^_^ no worries about it really cool music btw, if anything yours is the coolest i have heard using the nanokey2. any plans on releasing more videos?
@@ViewportPlaythrough I'd love to, but I have daily job, music being just my hobby and I'm very busy now... If only I could find more time, I'd love to record more.
@@ozwavemusic can i ask about the nanokey's build though? i saw a comment about the other midi i was looking at that it broke within just 3 months or so... so i am wondering if you could tip me with the nanokey's build/sturdiness
