Hello! I’m so glad that I have found u! I’m building a new house on the bay in Orange Beach and I’m sore torn on a very neutral color for walls ,ceilings and cabinets. I’m leaning towards AESTHETIC WHITE,EGRET WHITE or WHITE HERON. I’m scared of sw alabaster due to the yellow tones. I’m not a fan on yellow undertones. I have north facing light . Could you give me any suggestions. Please .
I have Cashmere kitchen cabinets. Would egret white or aesthetic white go with it? I read to go with Warm neutrals. Its open concept so the same color would go through the living room. There is a lot of light during the day. So confused. thank you
You are giving me sanity! I’ve ready pretty much every article on your website! Would accessible beige cabinets provide enough of a contrast with aesthetic white walls?
WAHOOOO, I'm so glad! And it depends on how much contrast you want to see. It would certainly by low contrast with 15 LRV points between. What about trying a sample of Accessible Beige 25% darker? It's subtle, but sometimes those wee shifts make the difference!
Aesthetic White is everywhere in my house we just moved to. It is pretty but I have so much natural light it washes out to just white in most rooms. I need a beige with more depth. Thinking Kilim since my finishes are of that era (learned that from you). Accessible beige looks very gray/muddy in my house. Would keep Aesthetic White in hallways and room where it works, and all ceilings. Thoughts on Kilim beige with Aesthetic white adjoining?Love your videos!
Well, you're in a tough spot. Aesthetic White is too grayed-out for Kilim Beige, which is why it suits Accessible Beige so much. I see a few options, but none are ideal.. 1. if Aesthetic White HAS to stay, I would leave it all as-is. Sure, Accessible Beige goes with it, but it could sit more off with your era of finishes. 2. shift the walls to SW Natural LInen, but the ceilings/hallways would have to change too, as it also doesn't like Aesthetic White. 3. I do love Kilim Beige, but it can date a home to looking more 2000s - which is okay if you love those depths. There could be other shades...maybe, that could work for the odd room (some taupes can slide in), but those are hard to say without seeing your home!
Ok…Kylie! A few months ago I reached out re: choosing paint for our waterfront south facing new build. Egret White was top on the list as well as recommended. Now is the time to pull the trigger. I have been tossed now after watching this video and all the beautiful coordinating colors. . . So…. Egret White sometimes seems to show a wee bit o pink ?? Or does it? HELP! Would you rather: Egret White or Aesthetic White? And which trim. PS. We are believe or not going with white perimeter cabinets and looking at island colors…..and Leathered Blue Dunes…our slabs don’t have the yellowish/greens portions but more of the Smokey and deep blues and whites and taupe-y colors. . .So….What Say You? Egret White still or Aesthetic White? Can you tell I am scared to commit. ?). LOL.
Oooo, from the sounds of it, I leeean into Egret White. I mean, i LOVE Aesthetic White, but from the sounds of your slab, Egret White might be better???
@@KylieMInteriorsPaint YESSS. Okay… Now. All I have to do is figure out the island color. Keeping it coastal. Perimeters will be extra white. . .. Ooomph. so many blue.grays but no idea where to begin. PS. I am so grateful for you!
My kitchen island is urbane bronze and cabinets are alabaster. I have the Tuscan granite countertops- I want to paint the kitchen wall aesthetic white. Will that work?
So many remarkably beautiful pairings with Aesthetic White! They really do perform aesthetically on another level.
It is one of my faaaaves!

Thank you for the reply! I have some thinking to do. The Natural Linen idea is growing on me. Appreciate you!!

Nooooo, I wouldn't put Aesthetic White with Alabaster :)
Would you say aesthetic white is a good color for kitchen cabinets?
Looking for something in between westhighland white and dover white, anyone have suggestions (SW brand colors but open to any brand)
What is the color or your wall behind you?
That's Benjamin Moore's Balboa Mist!
So what DOESN’T coordinate with Aesthetic White?! 🤓
Right? It's so EASY! Generally speaking, creams aren't good at all, pinks, and colors that are too colorful :)
