I had to advise a brother in Christ to take his studies seriously. He spent his time moving around preaching while failing all class exams. Meanwhile, we were preparing for our final secondary school exams (GCE Advance level). I reminded him that failing the exams brings shame to our God. A Christian is an orderly and responsible person.
This is why I love pastor Chris Oyakhilome... He taught us well during my school days. He told us, am paraphrasing "you are first a Christian before a student, so when you are sent to school, get serious with your studies and come out with the best grades. Then you can continue your Christian activities which seemed to be distracting then in school.
This is an excellent vid I know many times we as believers in Christ feel that we don't have to plan ahead and we are always covered by grace without putting any action forward. But we as Christians hurt ourselves and do not realize in James 2:26 for as the body without the spirit is dead so faith without works is dead also. Anyone can do that! But this isnt works that scriptures speaks....so when the scriptures speaks of faith, it says faith comes by hearing the word of God, and works of faith is attained by acting on that which is heard! What God speaks, you heard, believe and acted on it, that is works of faith, Abraham believe God whom he heard, and acted according, that is works of faith. I could remember when I gained admission for my HND, my friend also gained admission but he didn't take the admission because his pastor told him that if he didn't hear God tell him to go for the HND, he shouldn't. He got tired of waiting for God to speak until he lost interest in school.
The first mistake was attending the stupid church and listening to Pastor Crazy. May God deliver Christians from a lack of knowledge. God help your people. 🙏🏾💯 Thank you for spreading awareness. 🙌🏿🎯
