At 5.15 shaunti talks about conquering "the rest of the world". As a man, fortunately I don't need to take on the Whole world-- just my little corner/neighborhood in the world.
When I can start my day from a home where I know I am respected and accepted "warts" and all by an exceptional partner then I can withstand the negativity and the literal put-downs that the carnal world dishes out so freely and in so many different ways.

“No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”
    ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭13‬ ‭ESV‬‬

How do you know what Jesus meant by Matthew 5:28-29? I am fairly positive fantasizing & porn would be qualifications. I cannot believe how accepting they were of this?

It's as if women are not visual creatures too women notice men with great bodies too. Visual ness exists as long as you have eyes to see male or female. I'm tired of this narrative that men are visual creatures and women are not because it's BS

You're sitting in a restaurant with perhaps 20 tables. A very attractive woman walks through the door. The women facing the door may or may not notice her but within a few seconds every man in the room knows she's there. That's what Shaunti is trying to communicate.

Men and women are both visual creatures to your point, but men are visually stimulated by such a large degree more that it's not even close. Men can be ready in two seconds... almost 24-7, but women very rarely can be ready without a lot more work and preparation.

I agree! I was delivered from a lot of disgusting sexual perversions. Don’t think that women don’t have those problems because we do!!! I’m telling you first hand and in complete honesty. I used to be a nasty dog! I’d have nasty degrading thoughts about men and it didn’t take long to get ready. We are telling y’all how we think because y’all have been sensitized to believe that women don’t think like that. Trust me, when a good looking man walks into a room women notice. We think the same way a man does. We wonder what he is like underneath his clothes and in bed! Not all women have emotions tied up in either. I’ve connected with men just by sight and that’s it. Quit believing that you think you know how women think. Not all men think alike and not all women think alike. Not all men are the same just like not all women are the same.

Do women know more about men or men about women? Can a man know more about a woman than she does? If you know yourself, is that selfish?

Lastly, men were not “designed,” to sin. They were made perfectly. Sin exists because Adam and Eve made a choice to go against God.
Noting the existence of someone is one thing, noticing a body out of attraction is completely another . It’s again, one thing to say to your wife, “she was a beautiful young lady wasn’t she?” Following a brief interaction with a young attractive gal. It’s another to think of a beautiful woman sexually. That is exactly what Jesus says not to do in Matthew 5:28. That is sin. And you’d do well to reflect on 1 Corinthians 10:13.
How many of the 1000 interviewed were Christians vs of the world?
