    Fantastic performance. Snares were flashing those sticks like lightning bolts. The two ballads at the end showed off the horns so beautifully.

    • @rwhyte85
      @rwhyte85 8 лет назад

      Marlon Galdamez I'm not sure what they used, but we used Kevlar on top and bottom for that sound.

    • @jaleelpriest24
      @jaleelpriest24 6 лет назад

      Evins head on top and a white head on the bottom is what we use and what they use. My drumline instructor is from coldsteel so thats how i know.

    who cares about the snare line! give us some brass! lol, jk. drummers rule.

  • @grantfox8651
    @grantfox8651 9 лет назад

    I feel like the snare line would be so much better if they had real harnesses and didn't work so hard on vis stuff.

    • @keauntebishop8
      @keauntebishop8 9 лет назад +2

      they use straps (slings)...... it requires different hand positionings from using carriers but same form and tech.... that's how we do it In some HBCUs

    • @bibbiana4Lyfe
      @bibbiana4Lyfe 8 лет назад +6

      they don't want harnesses and they play just fine. this is a show band not a drum and bugle corps. it's all good

    • @SP35640SNAKE
      @SP35640SNAKE 8 лет назад +6

      Then it would be stiff, boring, and not fun to play lol

    • @Anzomax2
      @Anzomax2 8 лет назад +3

      if they use a harness it will also take away the high step

    • @Tubastein1
      @Tubastein1 5 лет назад +1

      Fyi, they used harnesses for many years (80s thru 90s). Switched back to straps in early 2000s I think.
