Interesting in Germany we have something similar but add a lot of rosemary to the potatoes and hence call it Rosmarinkartoffeln (rosemary-potatoes) oh and we only have gravy if we eat a roast with it otherwise the easiest default is a Kräuterquark (quark (a type of German fresh cheese that is somewhat Joghurt like) mixed with herbs)

I think these moms rate them fairly. I have seen some of the people/moms rate something unfairly because they clearly want to win. "Sorry, I dropped it on my floor so I give it a 5." BS like that.
