The bottom of the one shell looks realistic as what a shell looks like sometimes sitting on the ocean floor long time…. It’s pretty cool to make some and then make a oceanic themed project… I live in Fl and we goto beaches all over and I love looking at shells while snorkeling 💕💕

I've used a different brand that goes from liquid to solid in 5 minutes. I've always wanted to color and mixing add-ins to one side before mixing is brilliant. I will definitely do the experiment and save this vide experiment in my library.

You can brush glitters, mica powders, chameleon powders/flakes directly on the mold, and it will work with polyurethane resin.
excellent, I had been searching for that answer with no luck, even on fb, haven't seen it demonstrated by painting on the mica.

I just love when you to work together….try that experiment again with a very vibrant color of shards or very chunky glitter and put a lot in so it doesn’t get lost in the white…I seen someone else do it that way…good to know what works and what doesn’t work…

This was the first video by you I've seen and I just have to say I love the dynamic between you two, you're so funny XD You remind me a bit of my grandparents, they were nicknamed The Bickersons for a reason, but it was clear there was lots of love between them! Also, just in case you didn't know, this kind of resin reacts badly to water! So that's why the acrylic and alcohol inks failed, too much water in each of those things. Be careful since if it heats up too much it can severely damage your molds!

I think you have to add some acetone to the acrylic. Not sure but remember someone doing that. Brain fog here isn’t letting me remember who did that recently.

Michelle I'm hoping you can help me out and give me some advise. I have these cute little molds for gummy bears. I made some they looked so pretty. I was making a resin jar and put my gummy bears I made from resin in it as a filler but they melted. Do you know or something I can use to put in my gummy bear molds to later drop in resin as an addin that won't melt in the resin?
I’ve never heard of resin melting in resin! I’m stumped!! 🤔

Hi Michelle. I have the polyurethane in clear & when I go yo use the white; say got the edges it runs and it all settles on the under part of my mold. I tried the white for resin & the last resin white. Neither one worked. Can’t seem to get any info on “let’s resin” or anywhere. Joyce
I'm not sure what you mean...
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 well I am using polyurethane “clear” not the white. So I am trying to use smaller molds.just slightly larger than coasters. When I try to use the white alco/ink it runs under the mold. It still hardens in 10 min but the white is under the cured mold. TNKS joyce
