Delhi se Srinagar direct nahi jayegi but Delhi se aane wali gadiya Katra tak jayegi fir waha doosri Vande Bharat gadi board karni hogi . Yani Connect Flight hai 😂
any idea of the cost of ticket from Katra to Srinagar ? Vande Bharat is a bit expensive all over India even for short distances. wonder what could be the cost of this distance. I did travel from Anantnag to Banihal during my visit last year that was just Rs. 40. Vande Bharat im assuming will be atleast 500 to 1000 if not more. but for sure this will be very convenient for people who want to visit Srinagar after Vaishnodevi darshan. currently the road journey from Jammu to Srinagar is very harrowing with landslides, construction and epic traffic jams.
that is a different train just like a local passenger train thats why low fares. VB ticket prices is mainly aimed at tourists here . most probably some other trains on this route will cater to the other segments with low fares. also like u said much more convenient than the highway route .
