Btw not sure how true this is but the drip feed game files does in fact say that the interceptor has higher acceleration and top speed than the regulars Hellfire also consdiering from what I've seen the Interceptor seems to be base of the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon which is faster and better than the SRT Hellcat which the Hellfire is based off.

The LSPD Drag Team livery makes a lot of sense actually. For example, my local Police Force (RCMP) have a Drag Racing Team, and they race for charity. Last I saw them at my local Drag Strip they had a mid 90s Camaro Z28 built with all of their usual equipment. That was a decade ago so they may have a new car, but that’s the one I remember.
A police station near me has a modified ford with a body kit and livery to show what modifications you can legally make and they use the car as educational material for young car enthusiasts
According to another RUclipsr who has the actual specs from the game code, the interceptor is faster and has much better performance in every way compared to the hellfire..
